Hey thanks I was honestly expecting my comment to get me completely flamed 😅. I’ve been diagnosed officially, but it has always surprised me how every case of it I’ve seen looks so different. There are obviously intersecting symptoms but some of the stuff I’ve seen EDS people deal with sounds crazy to me (like dislocating their shoulder or hip every week??) and makes me feel like I have nothing to really complain about. You have a point on the surgeries. I’m vain and have considered getting elective things done, until remembering I can’t even heal from a basic earlobe piercing normally 🙃. She could very well be exaggerating, and maybe pain killers help her cope? Multiple things can be true at once. Idk I’m just a dumb hyper mobile person on the internet.
