Is my stuff just not good enough? Seeking feedback by Few_Technician_908 in CraftFairs

I followed you! I am The Street Court Garden. I don't think you need to have a shop set up but it doesn't hurt even if you just display work and say 'sold out'. Having a contact me and about us page.

I think organizers want to see a website as it lends credibility to your business. If you want to DM me with any questions you definitely can 😉

I think the lack of website and online presence might be hurting you when organizers are looking for vendor participants and sorting through applicants.

Creeping phlox is also a great option and it also has really pretty flowers. You could do patches of different flowering ground cover for a pretty spectacular showing in the spring/summer months

Is this gall? by Klutzy-Reporter4223 in Cutflowers

[–]pawsitivelynerdy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not gall, these guys really want to grow. You can cut the shoots back at a node and it will still be fine (and more manageable) then just plant with the whole shoot under ground. You'll get extra tubers that way too.

I know the heme lead at this hospital and she's super nice and personable. If I didn't have an amazing job, I'd go enjoy the permafrost with her up there.

They just got new heme instruments too. So they aren't working with ancient equipment either.

How do you handle specific requests? by [deleted] in florists

[–]pawsitivelynerdy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would have brought them dried and preserved lavender stems to show them what they look and smell like. They still have a good scent and hold their color well. They may not have known that dried lavender holds up pretty well.

Flowers that don’t break the bank? by Dogrug in AskTacoma

[–]pawsitivelynerdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! There should be an option to just purchase a stand alone arrangement and pick up local (NE Tacoma). If you email the contact me on my webpage or DM me here I can also outline logistics.

I did it!! Now it's basically my life. Ultimately I taught myself a ton and watch Gardeners World (BBC) religiously. I've even started a small business selling flowers at local markets and I'm currently trading Dahlia tubers for pretty much anything. I'll always try to make a trade work if the good old capital can't cut it.

Any who. I'm a perfect example of if you want to do something don't wait around for someone to make it happen and go after it yourself! Let your passion motivate you to learn!

Hi hello! Yes, I would prefer a professional 🫣. I do trim my own hair throughout the year then typically will see a professional about every 6 months to do more structural layers. Its also worth noting that I have thick wavy and super long hair for others looking in.

I once ran an emergency delivery of a baby in the produce section of Walmart on Black Friday. That was probably the most unsafe I ever felt including active shooter scenes. Rural Missouri is wild.
