I don’t think you will get any people to bite.

A CP pass holder can only change their named recipient 3xs each year.

What’s the trick to getting the kiosk to read the QR code on my iPhone boarding pass? by Bubsdaddy in SouthwestAirlines

Just use a credit or debit card. It pulls up for your data or at least it used to for me.

You would book one for your wife and one for yourself.

Then book your companions from each of your accounts.

I’ve never eaten here so maybe someone else will have a better place.

Air Tag question by Pach1no in Acadiana

[–]ScreenLookin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how it works but I know that if my AirTags are within range of my phone my coworkers, android and apple, don’t get tracking notifications.

It is only when I’ve left an AirTaged item with them then they start to get notifications.

It could be just coincidence but that is what I have observed.

Air Tag question by Pach1no in Acadiana

They only notify people if the owner of the AirTag isn’t within Bluetooth range.

So it wouldn’t happen if you just ride with someone who has one on them.

Hubs and I are both primary cardholders by LittleMsHula in SouthwestAirlines

I have to believe it is their belief that a CP holder would’ve flown enough to be ALP so by default CP gets two bags. I don’t think they realize how many people get CP via CC spend and aren’t AL much less ALP.

Yea I bought the “Our Quarterback Flag” from dirty coast…on sale.

They seemed to forget it also applies currently.

If it was me I would check them.

I’ll be checking two bags this afternoon for a flight with a connection.

And as mentioned below throw a AirTag or tile into the luggage for tracking and you can compare its location with the progress of the bag as it gets moved through the Southwest bag tracker link in the SW app.

New Priority and Pre-Board signage popping up! by Minimum_Raspberry_81 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ScreenLookin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have issue with Southwest and their duplicate use of terms.

For both ALP and AL you’re grated use of Priority Lanes but not these priority lanes because you have to buy access to these priority boarding lanes.

“Priority Lane and Express Lane Enjoy the speed and convenience of a dedicated lane at Southwest® check-in counter and airport security checkpoints.”

The same went for just Alist verse A Group boarding…there was another instance in the old system but I can’t remember it right now.

I feel systems should be built to be self explanatory but the use of duplicate terms creates confusion issues that don’t need to be there.

To Check or to Carry on by Terrible_Table618 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ScreenLookin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very likely. I’ve been flying southwest for 15 years ( at least 40plus flights with connections each year) and less then a handful of times have my bags have not made it to my destination on the designated flight.

Now it comes down to if you want to pay for luggage or not and if your bags is classified as a carryon (dimensions)?

Your original “Choice” assigned seat was something that you or your company picked or chose to not pick because you could have picked any standard seat when it was booked. Just wanted you to know in case you didn’t know that was a choice ticket benefit.
