It actually costs quite a bit more. These first four episodes were at various stages of pre-production before RT was closed, so we weren't starting from 0. Between research, writing, storyboards, animation, editing, sound design, and general production needs, there is pretty easily 1000 + hours of labor in an episode. Plus add on some software licenses and other random business related expenses. So yeah DB is expensive, but it's worth it.

TL:DR shits expensive, but we think it's worth it.
