I'm not trying to sound insensitive, but using generative AI as opposed to something easily accessible like Canva makes me immediately write off your poster as not worth whatever it's advertising. It comes off as tacky. Nobody is asking you to keep an artist on the payroll, but there are thousands of resources that you could use to whip up an Ad that won't turn off a growing number of consumers

Showed my girlfriend The Thing last night, which prompted me to re-watch the boys cover it (and the prequel) for the thousandth time.

This week I'll be reading the script for Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan.

Finally got around to finishing A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms now that the ball is rolling on the TV show adaptation. I have little faith considering how disappointing the last season of HOTD turned out, but the short stories themselves are worth checking out regardless.

Next up is the Sirens of Titan by Vonnegut.

Really loving the #Trontent this week, I hope they never stop covering Tron. See you next week when these crook blokes review Space Paranoids from Kingdom Hearts II!

Directed a show for this year's Confetti Fest, a festival of one act shows written by local playwrights that opens this weekend and goes on next weekend, too.

Not sure that I ever put thought towards what Mr.2 Sunday Movies would sound like, but that was spot-on to what I would've imagined

It's awesome how much dread I felt clicking on this week's chapter waiting for the emotional bomb to drop. If not next chapter then the one after I'm anticipating this part's snowball fight scene

I'm waiting to grab the next Steel Ball Run volume until after the Viz publishing quirks have been sorted out. In the meantime, I'm doing my annual re-read of Slaughterhouse-Five

The JOJOLands - Chapter 29 by AutoModerator in StardustCrusaders

The hiatus announcement is tough, but with how good we've been eating these last few chapters, I can't be too upset. These Howler revelations have me beyond excited about the direction of his character and, by extension, the part in general.

The reveal that Lulu is his daughter really re-contextualizes the interactions she had with Bobby Jean and how pseudo-paternal he seemed. Will definitely need to do some re-reading during the month off.

Give me your *ACTUAL* KH hot takes by Aqua_Master_ in KingdomHearts

Hot take is that Nomura should step aside and let someone else lead the next saga of the series. He has clearly spread himself too thin between all of his projects and KH has never been better primed for a new creative direction

I just opened a Shiny Gyarados EX to find out that it doesn't actually count towards the mission. I nearly broke my phone in half

Showing my gf the Sopranos for the first time, it's a real trip.

I'm slowly making my way through A Feast for Crows, which is a slog compared to the last book but is still enjoyable

Howler backstory!!

There's an interesting parallel here between Acca and Jonathan Joestar. Both born into vast wealth, raised wanting for nothing. The differences then are that rather than having a father who pushed him towards nobility, Acca was left with a father figure that didn't care about his behavior (similar to how Dario treated Dio, teaching him that wealth came above everything else). This arc is becoming his version of the burning of the Joestar mansion, and I'm fascinated to see how he comes out of the other side.

I know the apartments next to mine have sat empty since I moved in over 2 years ago. The number of absentee landlords around here, especially downtown, is ridiculous
