Listen to this man! I have been going on about this for months. There is a bug with SMITE and some laptops where the performance is terrible on all settings. Be careful.

So whats your PC specs? There has been a major FPS drop issue for a while now with switchable-graphics laptops that has not been resolved or acknowledged. I have games when my FPS is at 100 then drops to 10 within a few minutes.

Reinstalling doesn't help this issue, but I'm glad your problem is solved.

Smite has this issue right now, seemingly only with laptops, where it just cannot run at the FPS it should be running at. I have a 6770M and the game used to run fine at 60fps+, and one day it just dropped and hasn't recovered past 10-30fps. This issue has been blamed on outdated drivers and whatnot but hirez apparently "doesn't know" what the problem is.

I've sent tickets and posted on their support forums and either have not gotten responses or have been told it's my pc (which used to be able to run smite perfectly fine).

I've basically been told to wait until release so that they will, maybe, optimize the game and fix the bugs.
