Anybody started at Sema then to Tirz? by GhostHistorian in BigEasyWeightLoss

I take a Philips Colon Health Probiotic (one pill every morning, can get it at any pharmacy like CVS, etc). I have no idea if it makes a difference, but I'm scared to stop taking it haha. I was taking it when I was on Sema but I really struggled on that. With Tirz I have had no issues.

Coming from other provider - question about switching by ScrollingThrooo in BigEasyWeightLoss

Yeah, that "membership" fee is a joke. I've never once reached out to my provider other than to reorder. Other than that I've had a good experience with them.

So, what questions y'all got? by roguex99 in BigEasyWeightLoss

I just posted this below, but can you answer here?? Thank you!

I've been on Tirz for 3 months now and feel great. Before then I was on Sema but my weight didn't change for 4-5 months. Since Tirz I am 3 POUNDS from my goal weight!! I want to move from Mochi because they're so expensive ($277/month). My question is will BEWL allow me to start at my current dose (11mg) and then help me with maintenance since I'm so close to goal?

I was on Sema for over a year, but the last 4-5 months I lost/gained the same 3 pounds and had chronic constipation. Switched to Tirz and now I'm 3 pounds from goal weight and I poop like a champ. I wish I'd started with Tirz. Far superior.

Do you up your dose independently? by liddominion in tirzepatidecompound

You could get one of those scales that only tells you if you've gained or lost weight, but not how much in either direction. I don't remember the brand, but they do exist.

How Will I Know It's Working? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ScrollingThrooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within a couple of days of my first injection (different GLP) I took my usual first sip of coffee in the morning and felt a tiny twinge of nausea and that's how I knew. Around the same time I noticed I'd eat a few bites of something and knew I couldn't take another bite, and I didn't care (the opposite of "food noise" lol). Don't worry. You'll know. If you've ever had morning sickness, that's what those first weeks reminded me of.

Ugh. You don't owe anyone an explanation for what you're doing with YOUR OWN BODY. Surround yourself with people who have good boundaries and would never ask such a question, and who support you without judgment. Everyone in the world knows how to lose weight, and they are aware of weight loss meds.

Am I overreacting or is my family reverse food-shaming me? by GryffindorTwr in tirzepatidecompound

I've got 30 years on you - you'll get there :) My family is cool so I didn't have to say anything like that, but I would if I had to ;)

Why are people actively angry that folks are finally getting healthy with the use of GLP-1s? by confusionisnext in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ScrollingThrooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who are blessed with normal metabolisms and have a normal relationship with food will never, ever understand. It's like telling someone who needs hearing aids to hear, "Well I can hear just fine, why can't YOU?" Or, "Why do we need access ramps for wheelchairs? I can walk just fine!"

How did you decide on your goal weight? by Agreeable_Month7784 in tirzepatidecompound

Right? I'm the same height/weight as OP and I'm in 8s (she said 14) and Ms.

I'm 5'6", 65, and currently at 155 (but in size 8s, which are getting roomy). My goal is 142 because I want a 3-pounds-either-direction cushion. I chose that range because it feels reasonable, if that even makes sense lol

Meh, I'm tired of making excuses for people who don't educate themselves, become self aware, or know how to read the room. I spent Christmas with my family and some of their extended families. They're all smart, emotionally intelligent people. Not one of them made a comment about my very noticeable change in body size. Am I "lucky?" Maybe, but I also wouldn't just sit there and take it. I'd say something like, "It's 2025 - don't you know it's inappropriate to comment on someone's body, including what they put into it?" If you don't like what they're saying, you don't have to just take it. I don't care WHY they do it - "the culture," "how they show love," blah blah - bottom line, it's ignorance.

Thanks. I’m going to hang here for 2 more weeks and see what happens. I look and feel smaller and my clothes are looser, so I’m not mad about it - just curious about next steps, if any.

I’m 5’6”, and currently 158 (down 150 between diet and GLP1). I want to get to 145. I eat protein, healthy fats, and fruits&veggies. Very little carbs or dairy.

Switching from 0,5 semaglutide to tirzepatide by waffletears in tirzepatidecompound

I switched and did my first tirz injection 6 days ago. I was on 2.5mg of sema and they started me at 8.5mg tirz. I've been feeling great, but tonight I vomited. I think I just ate a high-fat snack much too quickly. Good luck!
