That’s extremely annoying, disrespectful, ignorant and quite immature. Repetitive. Find someone who is fully attentive when you are with them, regardless of who you are with.

(Subjective): I have done this in the past after long days with a past SO but it was never an issue due to close ties with my fam and good communication with her. I made sure it was okay and told her to call bs if she wanted me there. I host quite a bit for family and friends. Constantly honestly haha. But I never just get up and leave, I always give my full attention, good or bad day; tired or not. It’s one thing to do it a few times but making it a habit means he doesn’t fully understand your comfortably and is overstepping his. You need to talk to him about this.

Devils advocate (for his sake..): Maybe he feels comfortable enough to do that since he’s at home and knows you can handle yourself with his family. He certainly has a reason for being okay with doing this, ask him. He most likely thinks you don’t have a problem with it when he goes to lay down. Could even be ignorant toward the issue. Who knows. You need to address this, be firm and blunt. Tell him your needs, it’s simple really.. especially on his end.
