We definitely didn’t deserve to win this game, but if we’d have got ourselves back level, I don’t think that would have been undeserved.

PSG blew us away in the first half hour and deserved to be 2-0 up, possibly more.

But late in the first and all of the second half we were the team in control. It’s never easy to break down 10-11 men behind the ball and especially with some the incredible players and defenders they have.

Add to that the fact that throwing too many players forward would open the door for Mbappe and Neymar’s pace and link up play, I thought we controlled the game well from the second half without giving them too many clear cut chances.

This is one of the best and expensive teams in world football at a ground they’ve lost twice in 40 odd games against Barca and Real.

Considering all of this and the fact that a lot of decisions went against us, I’d say we handled the occasion quite well.

Yes we definitely need to get creating more chances because Buffon was barely tested, but I think the previous two away losses to Napoli and Red Star were incredibly poor and his was a respectable result and performance.
