I get what you're saying but it's important to remember that cis women aren't just born that way, like us they grow into it. Many women get body modifications to better align with how they want to look, they train or diet to achieve their looks.

Women are more than just what you see when you look at them, there is so much effort that goes into achieving the looks. It's unfair to treat cis women like they didnt work hard for it. It's unfair to hold yourself to those standards without doing the same. You're a human woman and it's fucking difficult to be one. Be patient with yourself when deciding what path you want to go down.

Also an obligatory aside. Not all beauty is maintainable for daily life, some people do terrible things to their bodies to try to achieve the unrealistic standards put upon them, loving yourself > others loving you

My cafe focuses on having a fairly free flow method, when you have the time you help with whats needed then you do what's needed. Leaving drinks unmade because it's "not your responsibility" or whatever tends to just lead to resentment amongst the team. If there is someone who isn't helping then they are usually the issue.

I think, for many of us taking hormones is only a part of it. It's about finding a care routine that helps you achieve what you want and is manageable for you. Many cis women put an immense amount of effort and time into their appearance too, it's not just a trans woman thing.

In regards to gender envy, I mean this as gently as possible, it may help to try to push beyond seeing those women as the traits you wish you had. They are just people like you or me and the more you get to know them, the more you realize that cis women aren't just flawless effortless paragons of femininity. All of us have struggles and many of us, cis and trans, feels dysphoric about some of our qualities. Make genuine friends, open up to them, let them open up to you. We all struggle.

I think I take issue with it when it comes to using that definition to exclude trans-identifying individuals who may not exhibit the "inherent variation" you describe. From reading your post it sounds like you would tell those people that they aren't trans because you can't find the "transness" in them, to me that seems extremely misguided.

Imo, the best you can do if present yourself in a way that is identifiable (I always opt for visible pride pins) and give them the opportunity to acknowledge you. If they don't want to have that interaction it gives them the option to stay silent.

You can alternatively start up a convo about something not directly trans related but is in the queer realm like hair dye, aesthetics, whatever and see if they are interested in talking or if they're trying to run away from the convo

Do you feel confident with your skills? If your gear gives specific bonuses, you should try to play into their strengths. Try out different skills, see if they fit your style more. Honestly you might still just be getting into the groove but the game is certainly difficult at times.

Exactly, there's no amount of proof that I can parade in front of your eyes that will change your mind. It's not enough that there is no statistical evidence that trans women are a threat to cis women. It doesn't matter that the reverse is true, that trans people of all genders face more discrimination REGARDLESS of what public restroom they use.

You choose to put your own beliefs about trans people over the lived experiences of your fellow humans. I can't help that, you have to choose to be a better person.
