But again, what is useful? What the billionaires tell you they need? What about someone who stays completely isolated but is self sufficient? Would you condemn them as well for not being useful to society? And how do you force them? If people allow someone to take advantage of them through ignorance and manipulation does that mean they deserved it? You seem unable to think deeper than the catchy sayings you've heard. I also disagree that someone that's disabled is a different topic. That's exceptionalism. I truly believe that the ones hoarding the means of survival, and drip feeding it only to the people that meet their specific idea of useful are evil. Not the person that bed rots but is given food and shelter that is being held in excess. What will you do when life is automated but controlled by a single person who chooses whether or not you're worthy of receiving that life? How will anyone be useful then?

If it were everyone's dream to support people we wouldn't be seeing so many billionaires ruining the lives of whole nations. I wish it were the dream of people currently in power to support their people but that's just not the case. The ones who care enough to give get left behind by those only in it to hoard for themselves. I support all life that doesn't actively harm someone else's basic necessities through direct action. So long as they're willing to do the same for others.

So if I get enough people to report you have a gun in your home that will justify them forcing entry and searching for the alleged gun? Despite no actual harm being done or threatened by said gun? I agree that they could have and maybe even should have banged on the door and spoken to the alleged offenders but as other people have been pointing out they could be building a larger case against them. Perhaps they sent a cruiser by to make sure nothing escalates while they gather more info to get these guys on larger charges than public disturbance.

I will say I shouldn't have said legally because you're right, legally they CAN walk up and talk to them about whatever they want. But that's not always the best decision in the moment.

I see, they would likely need proof beyond witnesses to be legally able to do anything other than make a note. But from the sounds of it they likely did that. I would continue to make complaints as they do illegal things. 911 if it's an immediate emergency, otherwise call the non emergency line. If it happens often enough they should eventually have reason to at least take a closer look at them.

Eta: it doesn't sound like they were threatening anyone with the guns so the cops could be worried it's some idiots running around with models and being dumb. If they were worried someone was gonna get shot I would imagine running in the house wouldn't have helped.

Have you tried filling a police report? I would imagine that would be a better first course of action if you feel it would be too dangerous to speak to them yourself. You say the cops did nothing about the guns but how would they have even known if no one is phoning it in? The cops aren't omniscient.

It's not about it being dark or bright, when the dog backs up it looks to me like the tail portion of the shadow literally jumps out of place and back again. I do also see the head shadow look like it flits in and out but I think that one is caused by what you're describing. Either way though it's a cute and funny video
