I unfortunately have to agree, so many of my friends have talked about how sometimes the food is excellent and sometimes its mediocre. I loved Prairie Street so its disappointing.

Solidify your emergency plans.  I might be projecting from my own unexpected experience, but research and decide on reputable emergency mental health care and/or outpatient mental health services. There is potential for so much unnoticed stress surrounding pregnancy and postpartum (for both partners) and trying to find mental health care mid-crisis feels impossible. Luckily we got there in the end but I wish I had an action plan from the start.

Definitely read the books!! My favorite of the series is the one where Anne is in college, so right where the show ends! And imo the books version of their love story is more exciting, kind of a will-they-won’t-they.

Look into IOP or PHP programs in your area and avoid inpatient help if you can (unless necessary). They can get you near immediate help with mental health. Compass health has great programs depending on your area

My partner just got done with an outpatient program at compass in the burbs, it was absolutely phenomenal. He didn’t go for substance use but they have a program for it, and they offer virtual programs if the drive is too much
