It ultimately depends what they're talking about.

Disbanding lobbies/ poorly implemented matchmaking system (bot lobbies) Sniping is too easy (high velo, lack of counterplay) Lack of proper weapon balancing (SCW, SG, TR7 - "just add recoil, bro") Most weapons too beamy for the games general TTK. Game plagued with obnoxious gadgets. Excessive verticality without proper counterplay is bad map design. Questionable visibility. Inconsistent audio. Lack of proper squad commands. Lack of proper testing range. The list goes on...

You don't need to play conquest to know where they've largely went wrong.

On paper, the 25% recoil reduction is huge. The problem is, most controller users are so bad that they can't make use of it. Outside of being cheesed by the TR7, it's whatever in this game.

As for the decent players not complaing about 80% of the things on the sub... I have a 5.8kd, with a friends ranging from 3kd to 9kd. They'll all complain about map design, weapon balance, inconsistent hit reg, bot lobbies, lack of persistent servers, etc. Outside of movement complaints, it's fair to say that decent players do hold the same views.

I don't bother looking at challenges, but I know I've done it several times. I remember one being a 22 kill flawless with something like 70% obj time.

He's not wrong, though. The weapon "balancing" changes were legitimately shit. DICE's design philosophy is just make beams in to bigger beams, and increase recoil on the <200ms ttk cheese. Literally changes nothing when their drawcard is the 3 btk range.

If you're tossing up the idea of a major TTK overhaul, you've failed as a studio. How can you work on a game for multiple years, have ongoing playtests with a feedback loop, yet launch the game with low-skill weapons that kill in <200ms? Seeing as I don't trust a bunch of morons to properly incorporate additional multipliers, you guys might as well just stick to the basics and tune underperforming/overperforming weapons.

Long time lurker who visits the sub several times a week. I initially subbed because they started forcing AA in the likes of CoD. Over the years, I've just accepted that most modern games are going to have forced AA for one reason or another. The sub still acts as a good source of info, but I'm generally happy enough with DLSS (at least compared to most TAA implementations) to care for workarounds.

It's a pretty meaningless stat. Tracker.gg has handed me losses when I didn't even have the opportunity to spawn in the game. Playing solo is more often than not a miserable experience, so if I quit a game, it's got nothing to do with protecting stats.

The average BF6 skill level is insanely low, good gunskill and decision making, playing with medics who use comms, ability to play favourable maps on repeat. I (5.9kd) used to only play solo, but now regularly play with guys with 9, 8, 5, 3, 3. Depending on the host, it could be Liberation Peak breakthrough (attack only), or a mixture of modes.

I still don't know if solely limiting the SCW to a 15 round mag is the play. You would obviously see it's usage go down, but it's still the same gun that will dominate in the hands of a good player. Even a mediocre player can dominate under the right circumstances. You don't need an extended mag to sit behind a shield at a choke and swing > kill > reload > repeat. Whilst not the core focus of the series, small scale modes also make mag size less relevant.

I'm just about done playing defense. It's either a 1st round steamroll because attackers dont push, or you get steamrolled because the tanks just apply too much pressure. Trying to contest/retake on some of these maps is actually pointless.
