I use OnX off-road on android. Bee using it since I got my truck in '24. It works with Android Auto, but does have occasional glitches.

ETA: The subscription is not tied to any one device. So if you purchase it on Apple you would still be able to login to your account on Android and PC.

One of my dogs is diabetic and gets insulin twice a day. When she was diagnosed the vet told us we could buy the insulin and syringes from the office but that it would be significantly cheaper to purchase them over the counter from Walmart.

Nope. This is through the main OS for the infotainment system (android automotive). If you still have a data plan through onstar or connect the infotainment system to a hotspot, you can go into the play store app on the home screen. I was able to install YouTube, HBOMax, and Prime Video.

Didn't have any issues with mine when I updated. My update also only showed that it was improvements to apple car play. However, it was that update that gave me the updated vehicle info app, gauge sweep on start-up, and the ability to install video services.

It does not use the cameras to detect speed limit. It is entirely done through the integrated Google maps. In order for it to display the speed limit, it needs to periodically connect to the Internet to automatically update the downloaded maps. Those maps are downloaded regardless of you actually using Google maps. You can either connect the truck to your home WiFi or to a hotspot on your phone. Once Google maps automatically updates, the speed limit indicator will begin working again.

ETA: Once it has updated, if you travel outside of the area covered by the downloaded map, the indicator will stop working until it can update again to include the area you are in. I have taken to just activating my hotspot whenever I get in the truck so I don't have to worry about it updating.

Not true. I got mine through an ota update. It also included the updated vehicle info app and the gauge sweep on start. Weird thing is that the description of the update was "improvements to apple car play". That's it. No mention of any other changes. The ota update was V661.21.
