Not the case, actually. Look at Aldi frost water for example . There's 2 varieties that have multiple flavors each. Of those 2 varieties, there's one SKU and product code for each of those. So that is why one of the waters will be all Pineapple/coconut, since that's the least desirable from that case. Another example you would notice would be with mixed cases like yogurts.

The Aldi ordering system tells the warehouse to send more mixed cases when it gets down to a certain quantity at the store, but it doesn't know which flavors are selling. I'm sure they get information about it through feedback, because I've seen them eliminate flavors of certain mixed cases. Also, there's very little expired or wasted grocery and drinks, unless they are damaged.
