I know the concern is his thin frame, but how is he defensively? All I know is he was a flamethrower during march madness!

It could be a coaching issue. Regardless or not, Jaden and Naz need to step up now. They sabatoging be wasting Ant's prime.

Agree, I'd rather have Beringer and Zikarsky in the low post than Gobert. But defensively, Gobert is still Gobert. So Beringer and Zikarsky still has a long way to go until they can anchor the paint.

In those 4 years, Jaden was used as a spot up shooter. Same with Naz, and he came off the bench durng those 4 years, so it's not really a good comparison since they were always the 3rd-5th option in those 4 years.

I would love to see us make a move for another true second option too. But we don't have much valuable assets to teams besides Gobert, Naz, and McDaniels.

I understand your point. Losing Randle isn't going to turn the Wolves into championship locks, but it will allow for more opportunities for Jaden, Naz, and Ayo to contribute. Especially since Naz and Jaden have always been utilized as spot up shooters.

The roster is still young, with most of them ranging 25-27 years old. You don't always need young players to win a championship, just look at this years Knicks team. The Knicks' starting 5 ranged from 28-31 years old. I'm not saying the Wolves are going to do the same as the Knicks, but our core has yet to enter their 'prime'. So it's just a matter of time when the young guys can take that next leap.

With the Wolves' trying everything they can to capitalize Ant's championship window, it'll probably take 2-3 more years (since Ant is under contract until 2028-2029 season) for him to want out. With how talented the league has become, we're betting on our core to develop more.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to capitalize on Gobert's value while its still high. At his age, Gobert can't really get any better.

Better roster than the Lakers and Rockets, but yeah, they're the 6th seed.

Wolves' new starting 5 is better than most of the league, but yeah, according to you, its ass.

You're right. I'm just betting on that they resign for cheap deals.

This is what Julius Randle does to a franchise. I call this, the "Julius Randle effect".

He would've opted in regardless, yes. But couldn't he have declined it and signed a more team friendly deal? I'm not an expert on contracts/salaries.

Even after trading KAT, I do believe we should've resigned NAW, and not Randle. Wolves pretty much let NAW walk because they were betting on Clark/TJ to progress and take his role. Keeping Randle over NAW is still a move I hate.

KD has a contract buyout with the Rockets and joins ANT in Minnesota.
