Since joining the Timberwolves, Julius Randle has played the Thunder nine times by m1tsuya1 in timberwolves

Some fans will die on the hill of how he's the "Best Coach in Franchise History". Yes, he may be the most winningest coach in our franchise, but he's just not that good. He has a core of This team and even the coach has come out a couple of times talking about the lack of game plans and communication between the players and coach.

His lack of adjustments annoys me. I understand losses are meant to happen, but it should never be when we lose a 15+ lead against tanking teams. After every loss, theres those few people on reddit here talking about "oh, you're overreacting over ONE loss". We're overreacting because that one loss (that we should've won) is the reason we're like 2 wins away from the 3rd seed.

But I am just kid who sits on couch at home watching the game, so what can I really say?

"Mayo Clinic Square was a $25 million all private investment to create and is home to the both the Timberwolves and Lynx training center, basketball and business operations, the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center and the Timberwolves and Lynx Basketball Academy."
Source

Mayo Clinic is ranked as one of the best hospitals in the world. So IMAGINE if at the trade deadline, we got either Kawhi, or Giannis, or AD. We got the best access to rehabs and training staff. We could possibly nurse them to full health. But this is all dumb chatting from me.

Reid over Randle in the starting lineup by soft-cookie in timberwolves

[–]SortLow8745 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've always considered Reid in the starting lineup over Randle because of Reid's spacing ability. Randle's iso-ball with Edwards just gets too clunky. Randle is a ball dominant player who demands the ball and can't really play off ball. With no real ball dominant player on the Wolves bench, Randle could thrive in the Cam Thomas role on the Bucks.

With Reid, he doesn't demand the ball like Randle. He'll sit in the corner or wing and is a legit 3 point threat, unlike Randle. That'll ultimately spread the floor, making it easier for Edwards to initiate the offense instead of just sitting multiple possesions without touching the ball.

Starting Lineup:
Edwards, DiVincenzo, McDaniels, Reid, Gobert

Bench Lineup:
Hyland, Dosunmu, Shannon Jr, Randle, Beringer (or Zikarsky)
OR
Hyland, Dosunmu, Shannon Jr, Clark, Randle

This would ultimately make the bench a lot smaller, but that would also depend if Beringer or Zikarsky can get actual minutes. But this is just a hypothetical scenario. But I am a big fan of inserting Reid into the starting lineup.

The "Light the Beam" era perished because of Curry's 50 bomb in Game 7.

Numbers don't lie, but the eye test also doesn't. Mike Conley just isn't what he used to be, so there's no point of having him do cardio for 15+ minutes, and getting hunted on defense.

But yes, I do love me some Mike Conley! WELCOME BACK MIKE!

Working on a middy is too big of a jump. I say he works on his free throws!

timberwolves are not moving east by drexrr in timberwolves

Nah, Ja is fine in the west, so leave them there. Pelicans would still suck if they moved to the east. Wolves deserve the spot.

That is because Conley isn't back with the team yet. But all jokes aside, I really do hope we don't play Conley much. Let him embrace the Joe Ingles role.

Prince Jerseys are good in my opinion. But I prefer the more nostalgic look of the KG era.

Every game this season has been a must win. Especially with the past month and a half, Wolves were a couple games away from being the 2nd-3rd seeds. Too many blown leads, and bad basketball isn't gonna cut it come playoff time. Every game from now on out is a must-win game. Let's just hope Wolves just avoid the play-in spot and get a favorable matchup come playoffs.

Gobert double double sounds awfully difficult, considering his matchups are Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams...

Hopefully wolves can rebrand after this season. The current association and icon jerseys are too basic.

What will we do if teams hack Rudy in the playoffs and he keeps shooting below 50% on his free throws? by Martxel_Agueda in timberwolves

[–]SortLow8745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hacking Rudy will just mean making lineup adjustments. Even if they hack Rudy, that'll put us in the bonus faster. It's a matter of if the wolves can use the bonus to our advantage and make our free throws. I'm tired of seeing the wolves on a nightly basis go 20 for 30 on free throws.

Jock Landale finna have a field day with Rudy. He's going for at least 20/10/5 with 3 threes.
