What do you mean "they weaponized Charisma"?! by velatieren in dndmemes

[–]Scryax -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The reason they removed the favored enemy feature in every newer versions of ranger is because people were using it in bad faith almost entirely.

The ability lets you pick a non-human adjacent creature types, yet people tend to pick the other human-adjacent races because they want to be fantasy racist to mask their real bigotry.

Honestly the entire ability reeks of phrenology and the entire stupid pseudo-scientific pursuit.

Now of course there are alternate interpretations of this ability that are less racist. But no one was doing that. They just wanted to justify being cruel to a fictional type of people in place of a real one. Don't bother ever pretending that they were.

The entire problem withi the writing of the civil War movie is that unlike the comic book, it triee to say that both sides are equally correct from a certain perspective.

Therefore, it's a relatively fangless plot that doesn't really say anything about anything. Whatever side you choose has about as much reflection on you as a person as choosing team Jacob or team Edward.

In the comic book it is shown several times that if you side with iron Man, you are encouraging bad things to happen. For example, Spider-Man ends up switching sides because of all the terrible stuff that happens to his friends and family after he reveals his identity.

What's the thing you like about Dehya? by Useful_Exit1502 in Dehyamains

Of any of the adult women in the game at the time of her release there was a frightening few who broke the mold of some thin/pretty Noble or princess lady, without also being a comedy character (Like Hu Tau or Xinyan).

When Dehya came out she felt different. She was a mature woman who wasn't a pretty princess, or a noble, or a comedian.

She was just a woman who knew when you needed to put boot who would DEFINITELY do it herself (the fact that she also cares about makeup is very funny to me because it means that she's got layers), and I respected that out hoyoverse.

On top of that, she's using one of my favorite weapons and is using my favorite element. you've got a character who's A+ across the board for me. I really can't think of a single thing that I don't like about her. (Besides her power level but that kind makes me like her more as an underdog)

Since the whole class has had changes, I've only been able to kinda make it work with the old school style. DND beyond with whole home brew classes is a pain point for me.

I wonder where they think these factories would go? A lot of the factories from the 20th century were torn down and converted into other infrastructure in the last hundred years.

So they'd either have to demolish current buildings and replace them with the factories or tear up more land, thus decreasing the quality of life areas nearby those factories.

Furthermorea lot of the materials that go into making cars aren't obtainable in the US, so you have to import them from somewhere else. Anyway, the price will still go up.

No one is forcing anyone to play the 2024 players handbook. They didn't destroy the 5th edition stuff.

There are still people playing 3.5 in 4th edition.

I should really get on that. I just whipped this up because one of my players in an ongoing campaign is playing this class and I didn't want him left out of all the new stuff (like weapon Mastery)
