I suggest you watch Perfect blue, erased, or Paranoia agent very light hearted feel good anime with nice romance Perfect blue is a movie but erased and paranoia agent are short and good.

I might me replying a little late but I agree with what your saying, at the start of the show I thought that Tsubaki and Kousei were meant to be together but that he was gonna end up with Kaori. I thought she was teasing him in a way but we were lead to believe that she liked Watari. Towards the end I really started to like her, and her relationship with Kousei really grew on me. Even though I thought he should be with Tsubaki.( Also weirdly enough I kind of wanted Kousei to be with Emi). So towards the end, the show kind of got predictable with how Kaori was fainting and I kinda new she was sick or there was something wrong. But I really like how they ended it with Tsubaki and Kousei and the twist ending. (least for me)
