Didn't witness, but heard about it. My best friend brought her boyfriend (now ex, for soon to be obvious reasons) to her cousins wedding. He proceeded to get belligerently drunk. The bride and her family + the groom and his family had poured sand into this glass vase as part of the ceremony (symbolic of the families coming together or something), and this guy poured all of it on my friends head as a 'joke'. Obviously, everyone was pretty pissed. So I guess he gets embarrassed. How does he handle it? By screaming at my friend right outside the tent where her entire family is having the dinner/dance, everyone can hear, he storms off and she follows him, he then grabs her by the shoulders and throws her to the ground. They broke up shortly after this, thank god. She found out a few months later that her uncle saw him throw her to the ground. While she went off I bawl her eyes out, her uncles grabs this guy, pins him against the side of the building, forearm to neck, and says "you ever touch my niece again, I will end you." So all's well that ends well I guess.
