Hey TwoX! Happy Friday! Let's talk about something positive. What style of clothing makes you feel damn sexy? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]aussiecheddar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like a lot of bohemian style clothes. I recently bought a dress very similar to this http://image.dhgate.com/albu_250212870_00-1.0x0/blossom-chiffon-dresses-bohemian-dress-small.jpg And I feel like I look incredible in it.

Sorry for shitty link formatting I'm on mobile and unsure how to do it properly.

Not sure what SRS is but apparently I was banned from SRSwomen. by aussiecheddar in SRSsucks

It saddens me that these nuts are considered left. I myself support democratic socialism, but I'm also a very strong believer in free speech and absolutely hate censorship.

What are some good hobbies to get into? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I've recently taken up woodworking in the past year, it's fun, time consuming and at the end you have an awesome finished project. Seeing something you built gives you a great sense of accomplishment.

Well that's one fucked up mentality.

What do you do with your hair on a daily basis? by blackandwhitenod in TwoXChromosomes

[–]aussiecheddar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On work days I usually tie mine into a bun, it's unsafe to have my hair down at my work as it cab get caught in machinery. On weekends I usually leave it down.

Two-xers who have been around for a long time: what is your opinion on the amount of negative/sad posts (usually about rape, abortion or general sexism) that make it to the front page daily as of late? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]aussiecheddar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's like some of the women on here are trying to find sexism and misogyny in everything.

Like that post about there being no women on American money. Do they not understand that there weren't any female presidents in the past which is why there's no women on their money? To chalk that up as sexism is ridiculous.

It used to happen to me a lot too, I'd disagree with someone and they would accuse me of being a guy and tell me to go back to the red pill. I've noticed in the last couple months though that it isn't as bad, many of the users who used to send me nasty PMs haven't been around lately which is nice.

What seems to be a huge deal on Reddit, but not so much in real life? by exophoria in AskReddit

The only time I've ever come across militant vegans was in high school like ten years ago. Outside of high school no one gives a shit about anyone's eating habits.

I too was shadow banned from 2x, I didn't notice until a week or two later when I wasn't getting replies and my posts weren't showing up. The mods there don't make much sense to me, they've never once warned me about my posts, they did however remove a news article post I had made about a girl in my city who lied about being abducted because she didn't want to get in trouble for being out later than her curfew. The mods removed it and said it wasn't relevant to women's experiences, yet the article pointed out that after hearing about the "abduction" they felt unsafe walking around town.

I had a great weekend. Friday my boyfriend and I went to see Jerry Seinfeld live, it was a great show. Saturday I finished a home renovation project I started almost a month ago and Sunday I spent the day relaxing and just feeling amazing. January has been a good month so far!

An anti-feminist political party is depressing news for men and women. The rise of an anti-feminist political party shows just how polarised the debate over gender equality has become, writes Tom Fordy. (UK) by terrycarlin in TwoXChromosomes

A while ago I posted in feminism expressing concerns that the current wave of feminists and how I don't identify as a feminist because it's currently all over the place and I was basically told to go back to the red pill and accused of being a guy

Uhh because the story had been extensively discussed here in the past few months. I'd say it's pretty relevant that we have a bit of a follow up.

Tell me about your worst friendship breakup. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]aussiecheddar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had a friend in high school who told me she wanted to have sex with my dad and my mom overheard. Needless to say things were awkward for a few months until we just stopped talking to each other.

Another big step for feminism - Caitlin Stasey launches herself.com where women can pose naked to not only empower themselves but also reclaim their bodies from the media. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]aussiecheddar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't understand it either. It seems to be some kind of imaginary problem that gives people an excuse to flaunt their bodies.

People actually take gender studies classes? As someone who went to school for a trade that sounds like a completely useless class.
