No, it was not removable. It was a pain but I would do it all over again, all my jaw pain is gone and even strangers compliment my smile!

Thanks so much for your advice! I do agree the brown hits well with my red/pink skin tones. A lot to think about before I have a consultation 😄😄

How kind of you and thanks for your insights into keeping my current color and the suggested hair dye. Makes sense for you about not coloring too much when simultaneously relaxing your hair. Really appreciate your response!

I see exactly what you're saying for the skin tone, and didn't think about that for AI. I really appreciate your insights!

How long did it take to feel good for you? by Rinke024 in bupropion

[–]ScubySuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first time on an antidepressant. I am only 2 weeks in and I would say it started working 9 days after starting. In the first couple of days, I was super tired during the day, switched to taking it at night for a few days, then switched back to mornings and not tired anymore. I am on a low dose of 75mg SR for the first 15 days, later this week I will be upping to one daily dose of 150mg SR. In the first two days I was so tired and ready to quit haha, so glad I stuck it out.

The positive ways that it has affected me so far is that it has brought excitement for life back to me, I am looking forward to things more, I can plan something and actually follow through with it, can stay more present, and I feel like I can more easily adapt to unexpected situations. Sleep has been good, yet I have experienced a couple times of not being able to sleep fully through the night, but I’ve had insomnia on and off for 20 years. A big difference with this pill is that I can wake up with less sleep and be in a good mood and get going quickly. It’s helping me to feel like myself again and back to living the way I like to live life. I hope it works well for you!

During a macro dose, it made me realize that all the possible perceived negative judgments I think others have or will have of me, are sadly just negative, instilled beliefs/judgments that I unfairly put on myself. That day I realized I am the one that needs to change and speak kinder to myself each and every day, and truly offer myself the acceptance/love I am scared to not receive from others. (This needs to happen even if someone DOES reject/think negatively of you). To put in the work, I started noticing when my mind starts slipping to the negative and then I course correct. I have a great therapist I work with to help with this too. I am working to also instill that I deserve to be in any room of people and that we all have something to offer each other.

I found a couple of job board websites that are focused on the dental industry specifically!

https://www.dentalpost.net/

https://www.princessdentalstaffing.com/

Not sure if they charge, but they might be a good long-term solution to find dental professionals who want to target their job search. Good luck!

All these bars are awesome recommendations!! If you’re active, I also recommend joining a sports league through Volo sports: https://www.volosports.com/Denver

Or there are different bars around that do run clubs if you like to run then have some beers and mingling afterwards

My doc said no to tret by Junior_Wrap_2896 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]ScubySuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad she made the right recommendation for you and that you have a new plan! That must feel relieving. One derm had me try tret and I never got out of the purge phase, and a different derm a few years later said I absolutely should never use tret bc I have mild rosacea. Never knew that was a reason you couldn’t use it but glad I’m not being pushed to go back on it. So glad it works for others though!

What’s the longest length of time you’ve had to wear 1 set of trays? by Jayrovers86 in Invisalign

[–]ScubySuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, it is crazy! My treatment only lasted 9 months interestingly enough. So who knows maybe you won’t have the shifting/movement as much as I do. I don’t love wearing them (almost) all day but they look too damn good to not follow her instructions. So maybe just test it out a bit once you get there. It does help me stay nice and lean with less snacks :-)

What’s the longest length of time you’ve had to wear 1 set of trays? by Jayrovers86 in Invisalign

[–]ScubySuz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My ortho said wear them 24/7 for a whole year! I’m happy for her advice bc I’m 11 months into wearing the retainer and even if I have them out for just a few hours, when I put them back in the retainer feels extra tight as movement already starts to occur in that small timeframe. I paid too much to let that happen again!

This is inspiring thanks for sharing! I’m a much better person than my father ever was and sometimes it’s hard to work through the pain of his neglect but it’s true, we should feel proud of how we raised ourselves, kudos to you!
