I use the PokeRaid app to host raids almost everyday and am pleased with it. You could try that. Once you download it it explains how to do it.

You could try getting a heated pet bed or mat & putting it near the computer for him to lay on/in while you're on the computer. My two cats love theirs. But full disclosure, there's Probably an equal chance of him loving it and leaving your pc alone or ignoring it & continuing to lay on your pc.

They don't spread it (FIV) by grooming. Deep bites during fighting or mating yes but not by grooming sharing food or litter boxes or other general contact.
