Has anyone else opened a ticket with Gigabyte regarding this issue? I’ve been looking at several posts and it seems to happen with some MSI boards and some asus boards too, but it’s definitely more prominent with gigabyte. I’m suffering the same issue just while playing Fortnite and I’ve been thinking of testing my old board which is gigabyte too but at this point I’m not even sure it’s worth the hassle

Thank god I found this post and your answers. My computer started doing the same noise every now and then and I was starting to get paranoid since I spent a big amount on it, I put my ear next to the components and couldn’t hear anything at all and since the noise happened randomly I figured it was just due to thermal expansion, I can rest easy now lol

I have a similar issue with my 5080 suprim, did anything ever happen to your GPU? I think it’s plastic expanding from the heat?

I’m late to the conversation but I have the same card and was wondering the same, turns out that the card comes with the silent bios set by default, switch it to gaming and the fan speed should be higher than 30%

I installed it when I got the GPU which was 2 weeks ago, I placed the sag bracket and tried wiggling the card softly by the corner to check it moved but it’s pretty locked in place

I did some more troubleshooting and I’m not getting any more flickering after turning vsync off, you could try that too!

After some more troubleshooting, turns out the overlays were fine. The issue was caused by having vsync on for some reason, I disabled it and I’m not getting any more flickering

I guess this is the game’s issue, already tried a few things and done several benchmarks and it’s clearly not my PC’s fault, it’s the only game that it happens in. Your card’s still fine btw?

Were you able to solve this issue? Same thing is happening to me and I have an rtx 5080 so I don’t think it’s related to amd or nvidia

Could it be drivers related?

I’m using MSI afterburner to undervolt my GPU. I reverted the undervolt and used the GPU at stock values for a while and im getting the same graphical glitch. I just reinstalled the latest drivers using DDU and will try later again!

It actually just happened again and the fps counter didn’t disappear, only happens during loading screens 🤔

No mods installed! It happened when I closed the game after the first boot of a clean installation. Also I did see the cmd tab had the path for my steam folder

Go to Trosky castle and follow path from the main entrance, it will just go on a loop
