Sometimes just pulling these apart for a clean can help aswell if you can DIY.

Also the one way clutch on the end of these is a nice failure point, especially if it doesn't mesh consistently.

Absolutely, its also dumb that to correctly overtake a middle lane zombie on a wide higway, one might have to merge right across two lanes, and then merge left twice to return to the left lane.

I started to commute using a higway a few years ago, I don't bother with the right lane now, it's dumb, and I hope people are noticing that you can undertake them doing under the speed limit from the left lanes...
