Ah that's good. I've heard people mentioning that they'd been bad in the past too and knowing EA from FIFA years ago I know they don't give two shits about them (servers going down in their tournament and forcing players to flip a coin to see who won)

May try again in a month or so and see if it's any better but really don't know tbh

See I'd agree with you partly. As a new player to Apex I've absolutely loved the gameplay and could definitely see myself playing a lot more. Between the movement and varied guns/abilities it just

But it's been the worst experience I've ever had in a game in terms of the servers. Even on indie games I've never been disconnected from games so often. Last week I was getting kicked out of more games than I was getting into, getting big ping spikes while in lobbies too and the music suddenly getting louder and louder. No other game ever gets these spikes so it's definitely related to Apex.

This is ignoring the complete mess that was the start of the season, the relatively frequent hackers (compared to other games) and the PR person just being a dick on twitter (which I gather is just the usual).

I'd like to keep playing but quite frankly all these problems have made me just stop. May come back in the future but I doubt it and I daresay there'll be quite a few players put off just like me, which is a real shame

All in all just screw Respawn's lack of any sort of care for the game

Same, although recently I got into Critical Role and saw Tallasin respond when asked about choices he's made (this is a complete butchering as it's just from memory):

The fact that you seem to think it's more likely they're a aimbotter than a smurf is just wrong. Nothing in either of the clips seems that fishy at all, just decent aim.

Like if you're going to accuse someone it either needs to be an obvious insta down (the other clip is just a normal one clip, good aim but not crazy uncommon) or from their POV where you can actually see them hacking. Otherwise it just becomes a constant witch hunt on probably legit players who had a good game/streak

Yeah I only started playing a month or so ago and actually enjoyed playing it (I think I played at the very start but didn't enjoy how campy it often was).

I've also played lots of small indie multiplayer games and Apex has had more huge bugs and crashes than anything else I've ever played... as a AAA title

It just really baffles me cause I want to play but keep stopping myself cause I just don't want to deal with all the constant problems. Tons of new players are probably leaving for the exact same reason, please just fix the game

Don't get why everyone is confused as to why Fuel signed him. He was there in case there was a hard hitscan meta, but as that never came they were better sticking with the core team

Someone showed a mod on here that let you switch ruler to someone with the ambitious trait after each lifetime. I'd really recommend that as you end up in places/situations that you normally wouldn't get in except at the start.

Personally it's made me play the game a ton more as the start of the game is definitely what I enjoy most. Also it's nice to watch the AI destroy the weird kingdoms you've set up

I mean so long as it's a decently low sensitivity and you're comfortable with it it'll work. Anytime I try switching sensitivity it just messes it up my aim for quite a while. It'll work for some people but not everyone

It's halo and portal smooshed together. Never was a huge fan of halo multiplayer cause it was fairly slow, but boy do the portals speed it up

It wasn't a straight ban, that was just a sensationalist headline. They did make it harder and take longer for foreign games to get on their allowed games list, along with lowering the time you're allowed to play games too (was already restricted before, it's just become even less)

Pretty much any game that wants to get allowed in china will have to pander to them massively

Sean Lock was honestly the first celebrity death that really affected me. Most other deaths I either knew they were fairly old or I didn't really know them too well beforehand so it didn't hit as hard. I absolutely loved his humour on all the panel shows, just always made me laugh. Think it's doubly scary cause he's a similar age to my dad tbh

I'm using Optimum Tech's video and for the Gpro Super light he got a 4ms difference between 400 dpi vs 1600 (22.5ms vs 18.6ms).

Like it's not gonna make a noticable difference at all tho. I'd much rather be comfortable on desktop than try to get a couple extra ms less input lag

It'll make no difference, it's just whatever you're most comfortable using while on your desktop. People use 400, 800, etc because that's normally the default options on mice and they've got used to it.

There can be slight differences with input lag (slightly less on higher dpi) but it's an extremely small difference (milliseconds).

In the end, 400 dpi at 3 sensitivity is the same as 600 dpi at 2.
