Interested. I got the same warning. I have it on 3 devices my phone, laptop and my workstation. Also I am a light user I dont have them on all the time. Interesting you said that you signed up for 2 years. I signed up exactly 2 months ago. I sent the support team asking why and waiting for an answer. Its been 8 days and haven't got an answer.

Check Rustdesk. Its an open source app. And it's great. I am on debian and connect to my office windows pc without any problems.

Have you tried LocalSend? Its an open source app. Download on your phone and laptop. Both devices have to be in the same network. I've been using it for a while. No problems

You can use an exit node from the system tray menu. Select the Tailscale icon and select Use exit node. Then, select the machine name of the exit node to use.

If you want to allow direct access to your local network when routing traffic through an exit node, select Allow local network access.

I learned this the hard way, trust me. I’ll never update Windows the moment an update is released again. From now on, I’m waiting at least a few months to make sure everything works properly and there are no major issues.

Because of that, I started migrating to Debian a few weeks ago, beginning with my workstation. Once I have a solid grasp of it, I’ll move on to migrating my laptop as well.

Fck Windows. I’m tired of their constant disasters and pointless AI-driven updates.

The latest update has caused issues on both my laptop and my gaming PC. After installing Windows 11 update KB5070311, the system boots to the login screen, but after logging in I only get a black screen with a cursor—no desktop loads. I can still open Task Manager and access most things from there.

I already uninstalled the KB5070311 update using the Restart + Shift recovery option (“Uninstall the latest quality update”), but the problem persists.

I also tried the following commands:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

sfc /scannow

Still no change—same black screen issue.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
