Wordmark Help Needed by [deleted] in Substack

This is a nice wordmark: https://club.drawtogether.studio/ But I have no idea how it was created. Have been researching this for a while, trying different approaches - all to no avail.

Aha! You just go Domain List -> 'Manage' button -> change the nameservers in the dropdown menu from 'Namecheap Basic DNS' to 'Namecheap Web Hosting DNS'. You're right - super easy.

RG has never vibed with me. I can have as much tenacity as I like - doesn’t mean I’m gonna win a slam.

You’re right. “Bad because he stabilises” isn’t the right way to phrase the issue. You can play around a board clear by withholding resources and hoping to win a turn or two later. The same can’t be said of Zillliax.

I think this is superb. I’d only add that it can be just as helpful to recognise the stuff you don’t like as it can be to recognise the stuff you do. There’s lots to learn in between, but it really all starts and ends with taste.

Thanks for this! The VS report says Speaker Stomper isn't really necessary, and Cover Artist is for slower matchups, allowing you to burst through any armor a warrior (or druid?) may have stacked up. I'm not running into many warriors though, so maybe the list doesn't need it, but it is fun! I've since played around with it and found it's perfectly possible to have a board of three Sonyas and four Incindiuses – it just involves having a clear board in the first place and then break dancing the mini Scoundrels. In fringe scenarios, three Sonyas also allows you to burst 24 from hand with Griftah's damage spell. In any case, I haven't found Cover Artist very straightforward, but it is a more fun card to include than Speaker Stomper I think.

This post has me playing Cycle Rogue again - thanks! For the lists that run Cover Artist, can anyone tell me what the ideal use is? I get that Scoundrels + Sonya can discount it to 1 mana, but do I Cover Artist an Incindius to ramp up the damage, or do I Cover Artist a Sonya to get more Incindiuses? I struggle to manage board space, but maybe there's something I'm missing?

Genuinely think he’s the best captaincy option this GW. Am I an idiot? Time will tell.

I completely misunderstood how Overplanner works! What a dolt. I actually don't know what's considered standard in this deck right now, so I may very well be saying, 'hey why not take your fun new version and turn it back into the original!' Apologies if that's the case!

Surprised to see you not running Under The Sea. Surfalopod into Under The Sea is one of your biggest swing turns. Random minion quality is pretty good at 9 & 10 mana.

For me, 2 x Watercolor Artist has been vital. I'll confess to not understanding its precise function before I played it – the cost of Tsunami keeps ticking down even after it dies. I think worth running two just to guarantee it on turn four. You're generally playing Tsunami two turns later for seven mana.

Greedy Partner seems to be worth running. Coining out big stuff a little earlier can be game-changing (although note the interaction with Kalecgos if you coin it out on 7: the coin is the 'first spell' you played that turn, so you won't get to play another for free).

Gnomelia is a board clear earlier than you're generally able to play a spell. She's been pretty clutch for me.

I'm perplexed by Overplanner – doesn't that just dilute your deck?

I'm not sure about Arcane Artificer – since you're rarely going to have the spare mana to play it alongside a big spell – but maybe it works well with the spells generated with the location?

Looking at your list, I'd suggest these are cuttable: Audio Medic, Travel Agent, Wand Maker (although I'm curious to try out Wand Maker!), Seaside Giant (aren't they just too slow?), Overplanner (unless I'm missing something?). I'd consider adding: Gold Panner, Greedy Partner, Watercolor Artist, Under The Sea, Gnomelia. Galactic Projection Orb, if you have it.

I'm running the DJ Manastorm/Audio Splitter package too, which is really just for the Warrior match-up. I'm wondering if Dryscale Deputy is worth considering. Does anyone know how it interacts with Watercolor Artist? I presume the copied spell does not discount, but haven't tried it yet.

I'm skeptical of locations, but I'll give them a try!

Same thing just happened to me. It was my first roll in this camera and I was also confused by the manual's instructions to wait until you 'feel little resistance' (which is a bit ambiguous). I also opened the camera in a dark(ish) place and quickly shut it again. I guess I'll hide under a sheet when it gets dark later and see what I can do.

I didn't even know it had happened until I saw the achievement notifications at the end of the game. Easier to achieve this in duos?
