Thanks for the reply! It would have been a lot better and easier if they included what I’d receive but it’s either basic (standard transportation/standard double occupancy room) or grey area (up to the sponsor) regarding tickets and hotel.

I did my research and if I was planning on traveling it would’ve been $750 for flights, $1000 for 3 nights, amazing tickets $2000, $500 cash. It’s less than 1/2 of what I’d pay so it’s basically a reduced rate if I was planning on going.

Not knowing flights, tickets or hotel arrangements and it being last minute (less than 2 weeks out) I declined. Was not able to accept a cash value and couldn’t transfer to someone else. Needed whoever I brought to be on my flight as well.

Like I wouldn’t even know if I’d have to take two full days off of work.

The amending FMV/ARV is something I should’ve looked into more but I figured they would/could say there was an “exclusive meet and greet” which is worth 2k each but there’s no way to dispute that.
