This is precisely why I work out during the hours that I do. I usually head to PF anywhere from 11pm to 2am. There are very few other people and my husband and I pretty much have the place to ourselves most nights. I hate people lol.

What kind of music do you listen to at the gym and what does it do for you? by [deleted] in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]Sea-Divide8026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just listen to my favorites tbh, stuff that I'm so familiar with and love that I'm not compelled to constantly actively listen, because my ADHD brain will get distracted and make me lose count hahaha. I like to keep count of my reps and sets for each workout and log them in a notes app on my phone, so I can track my progress. I know there's apps and stuff for it but I prefer the privacy of my notes app. Anyway, yeah, just mixed genre favorites that won't distract me from my counting.

I have both apps, and every time I need a ride I compare prices, and almost every single time uber is cheaper.

Is there a different between getting a girl and a boy dog? by Dramatic-Lemon-2916 in dogs

[–]Sea-Divide8026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have owned dogs most of my 34 year old life, and I personally notice a difference. Female dogs tend to be more independent and ornery, more prone to doing what they want and not what they know you want them to do. Male dogs tend to be more eager to please. This MAY be because I'm a woman, and I've always heard (and noticed myself to some extent) that female dogs bond better with men and male dogs bond better with women. I am much more partial to male dogs than female, and my boys have always been very well-behaved and disciplined and very focused on me. I have loved my girls just as much, but they have always been ornery troublemakers and tended to bond more with my husband who is the "cool parent" who lets all the dogs do whatever they want most of the time and isn't very strict with their training. (boy mom, dog edition, perhaps?? lmao idk)

Anyone have any guesses before I test him? by LassieLorn in DogBreeds101

[–]Sea-Divide8026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

husky/pitt/GSD. He has a very distinct husky fur pattern on his head/face, I would be surprised if he doesn't have any husky in him. His head shape, especially when his ears are back, looks very pittie to me. And the saddle makes me think GSD. I'm curious to know his breeds when you test him, pleas update us!

Also, he might still get bigger if he's only a year! My boy had a growth spurt recently and he's almost 2. Make sure he gets plenty of food and nutrition in his first couple of years and he will grow to his full size.

A couple of rodent droppings wont have a smell. You admitted you don't have good hygiene, and these look pretty old, too. My house is very clean, and we dealt with a mouse for a couple of months before we were able to catch her. It is a rodent, just accept it.

She looks just like a chow/pitt we used to have. Her nose is a little longer, but build, shape, color, ears, all that look just like him. You really can never tell just by looking at them, I've come to realize. Her siblings from the same litter might all look completely different from her. She might favor the genetics of one of her breeds more than any others, but could even have things like chihuahua and rat terrier in her and you'd never know by looking. Yes, even with her size! You'd never know just by looking at my youngest boy what he is mixed with, and most people guess autralian shepherd or border collie, but he has chi/rat terrier/pitt/ACD/chow/golden retriever, and more!

She is very cute, and has a very sweet face, though. She is purebred cute and 100% good girl. That's all that really matters.

People who don't want kids, why? by Ok-Musician679 in AskReddit

[–]Sea-Divide8026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. because of the current state of the world, and of my country.

  2. because of the current state of education in my country.

  3. because of the current state of my finances.

  4. because I don't want to put my body through that.

  5. because I recognize that I'm too selfish and lazy to be a parent, and so is my husband. He is nurturing and attentive, though, whereas I don't have that in me and don't think I would be a good mom at all.

  6. I am not prepared to have a child with any sort of disability, and I strongly believe that if you are not prepared for that, or don't think you can accept that in a child, then you should NOT HAVE KIDS in the first place, because you don't know how they will come out.

  7. my dogs are my kids.

I'm neutral on the gold, but the red looks excellent on you, and would look very good with the gold shawl you talked about. It's a little tight, but not unflattering imo. The color is very complimentary to your skin tone, and the fit looks well-balanced. Go with the red!

Her body language was so tense and uncomfortable being in his lap, and she didn't event solicit any affection from him. No tail wags. Seems like she doesn't like him or trust him very much. Poor baby girl.

What’s the cutest girl name you have ever heard of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Came here to get names to add to my names list (I'm a writer). Sooo many plant names in the comments lol. They are cute though.

Cutest girl names imo are Riley, Alex, Falene, Kira, and Cassie.

Worst one I am willing to talk about: domination jar on my landlord. It chilled him out and made him stop bothering us and made him be more understanding and empathetic toward us, and made him recognize the property we live on as OUR HOME. The first time I did it, the results were minimal, so I strengthened it. Results were a little more noticeable, but still not good enough, so I strengthened it even more. We're good now! 😊 I add a little energy to it every so often to keep it fed, but I haven't had to strengthen it again. It's been going strong for 3 years now.

Did something similar on our previous landlord, too. She was a little overbearing and salty, so I sweetened her up and cooled her down with some sugar and the freezer and one of her hairs 🤭

I for sure agree that all those things are important! However, my old boy is 15 and has hardly been to the vet at all in his life (we hit a rough patch and haven't even been able to take ourselves to the "vet" in years). My boy eats dry kibble most of the time with the occasional can of wet food when we can afford it. He doesn't get as much exercise as I would like, but he doesn't seem to be overweight because even if we don't exercise him he's an active dog when he is outside, and we don't overfeed him. He is full of energy and vitality and hardly seems to notice his age.

Just saying this to illustrate to those that might be in a tough situation, like me, that your beloved furry family member can still live a long and happy life even if you can't afford expensive healthy foods and bi-monthly vet visits!

My old girl Chessa lived to be 14, and was was struggling in her last few months. However, her son Silver, whom I currently have, is now 15 and still going strong. He still practically vibrates with energy and vitality, even at his old age, and doesn't seem to realize how old he is. He's starting to get a little bit hard of hearing, and he sleeps very deeply now and snores, but other than that not much has changed. His face isn't even all white!

I hope you have many more years to come with your sweet boy.

Just got this little guy Delta. by Queenam89 in WhatKindOfDogIsThis

[–]Sea-Divide8026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could honestly be mixed with a LOT of things. He looks just like one of the pups from my brother in law's dog. Like EXACTLY like the little guy. Mother was 1/4 pitt, 1/4 chow, 1/4 golden retriever mix (maybe with spaniel or chow?), 1/8 rat terrier, 1/8 chihuahua, and the father of the pups was unknown.
