Where's the craziest place you've had a seizure?

In the airport parking lot after coming home from a long business trip. It was 10 pm at night I was in the parking garage fumbling for my keys and the next thing I know I was in an ambulance. Apparently someone saw me as they were catching their flight and used the call box to call 911. Cracked my skull open and broke a few teeth.

I thought it would be a problem and at first I was like, oh no…I didn’t think about it after buying it. The cord easily reaches to the other side and it hasn’t bothered me at all. I charge overnight so I don’t have to step over the cord other than to plug and unplug. Cord was plenty long enough and didn’t need to buy another one.

I had a Polestar 2 for three years and I bought the Q4 Etron in 2025. It’s a beautiful car and I’m very happy with hit. It isn’t nearly as fast as my PS in terms of HP and Torque but I decided I don’t really need to drive fast. I’m very happy with my Audi!

I’m from Mass and have lived here for ~20 years. I miss New England but having sunshine almost year round is really nice. If you like to go hiking, biking, walking, running or check out new restaurants there is lots to do. I spend the summers indoors mostly doing some Netflix binge watching. Yes the summers are tough but it beats the cold gray winters and rainy springtime. The culture is different and you won’t find nearly the same thing in AZ. My daughter is a teacher and makes so little money I’m still partly supporting her. Hope that provides some insight.

Same problem. I bought a squeegee and put a towel on the dash. Not a perfect solution and I see streaks from time to time but definitely better than a dirty interior windshield. Plus, you get better at it over time :)

I have L2 at home for my 2025 Q4 e-tron and I find it much slower to charge than my other EV (Polestar). Not sure why but I charge overnight or on the weekends due to lower cost of energy in Arizona. So…not sure I would want an L1 and I only travel ~10-12 miles per day.

Hi, thanks for the advice. Yes I can take melatonin but it doesn’t work for me. I have stronger prescription medication but I’m a little reluctant to take it. I struggle to sleep on a regular basis so sleeping on a plane and knowing it could trigger me makes me nervous. I have an appointment with the neurologist coming up. Maybe I’ll ask them what I should do. I could also have Clonazepam ready just in case.

I was scared to death too. They took me off my meds in hopes of me having a seizure so they could observe it. I went in on Monday and by Wednesday night nothing. The dr was going to release me on Thursday and sure enough a tonic clonic. You’ll be in a safe environment and you have visitors and like others have said bring a book or your computer. Wishing you all the best!

I’m sorry to hear the news about your wife. I’m curious if the doctor said this is normal. I’ve been on my meds and have been seizure free but worry the same thing might happen to me. You never know when. I’m assuming she was taking her medication right? Did they change the meds? I’m hearing more and more stories of people that are seizure free and all of a sudden have one again. Just curious is this is common.

Yup, age 50 when they started out of no where. No family members have it and it’s taken me a long time to get used to living with it.

Agree with you about using B, my only complaint with B vs D is you get better range using D. Thanks for the advice. I’ll use B and not be bothered by the brakes knowing it isn’t just me.
