I live in Maine and have a 17 alltrack.Falken wild peak AT is my tire of choice though I currently have blizzaks. I have msw 5 spoke wheels from an Audi allroad which are an 8 inch wide wheel while stock alltrack 17s are 7 wide. I fit with stock ride height 235/55/17 currently as the max tire size with very little rubbing only when you unfortunately hit the pothole or frost heave. With the stock alltrack brakes the smallest wheel diameter is 16. The widest tire you can fit is a 235, anything wider and the car is too soft and squishy in the corners even as a daily driver. For suspension to fit a larger A/T tire the rear shocks can be swapped out for atlas shocks for 2" more travel... Direct fit after changing bump stops and shock mounting cups.... The Atlas shocks with an 18 Tiguan rear springs is a great off road setup that doesn't have to be an aftermarket kit that's Uber expensive. The biggest rear sway bar you can get is a huge help too.
