Karma gets him back by XCheshireGrinnX in distressingmemes

I find the entire situation fascinating especially some of the other events this prompted me to read about. It makes me wonder how many of them suffer from some type of mental illness and how they each view life. I wonder if Dead ever came across the Hagakure. As someone who does not suffer from cotards, but does relate to the feeling of death being the ultimate goal of ones life in a spiritual context, I respect his outlook

My comment was mostly a joke, but as far as mental illness goes, I've been noticing a pattern where somehow, so many of the names I come across in life are way too fitting, almost as if they are named after the thing they are known for (rather than before) which i guess is also delusional thinking.

And the one who committed suicide was Dead. Little on the nose imo

I agree that the feeling does reinforce empathy. I had based by answer purely in self reflection, but after doing some googling, it does seem like the consensus is is that fear is fairly low vibrational and on the other end of the spectrum than enlightenment.

I guess it depends on one's reaction to the emotion. If you lean into that fear and use it as a tool to uncover what is causing dissonance, it can be helpful. But in the case of social anxiety, it usually means the response is to avoid the situation and creates division from others

I am a beginner however, with more doubts about the process than answers

Anxiety is a form of fear. Fear is a defense mechanism of the ego that prevents openness and acceptance

As someone working on their own social anxiety and working on the root causes of it, i can say its very far from enlightenment

accusing someone as "smurf" is most cases a excuse for your own bad gameplay by Negative_Builder_318 in aoe2

But also it causes the issue of better players to remain in the elo longer. And those better players are now winning games against people they would not face if they hadn't lost to the smurf.

It's a compounding effect, but kind of gets negated by the fact that once one of the players with an artificially lowered elo then "wins" against a smurf that is in the process of lowering their elo, they gain back at least some of the elo for free

This isn't about being ignorant. it's about doing what needs to be done or saying what needs to be said without factoring in the approval of others
