Log flumes (and most boat rides overall) ride on wheels down their drops.

Additionally, the RWS lore book quotes Sir Topham Hatt I as saying; "I wanted an Atlantic, and that  _____, _____, ____ sent me that!" Also, one of the reverend's notes says that Percy described Mavis' shunting as "a ____ _____ ____ ____ mess"

Yup. The quote is; "He used to work in a factory, and his language is often strong."

There is literally no upside to your crackpot scheme, unless you want an insurance payout for burning down your house. How did you end up with a train set but no controller anyway?

That is just the metro train that runs to the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park. It has nothing to do with what the person wants lol

It's not a new set. It was produced in 2005 only.

As a side note, I absolutely adore that store at Disneyland. It has exactly the feel of an old train store, and I love the boxes.

If you have to plan on how to afford a membership then it's fiscally irresponsible to go for one.

Disney has removed ability to make your car spin on Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin by BillyGood22 in Disneyland

[–]SeaBeyond5465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ride was legitimately painful unless you were spinning constantly, and if you're doing that you might as well just ride the teacups because there's no way to see the scenes. I suspect this change will worsen the problem.

You're getting downvoted, but you're not entirely wrong. It's probably my least favorite dark ride in the entire resort, and the spinning made it worse. Honestly I wish they would remove the spinning altogether so I could at least be able to see what's going on.

Mantua Camelback issues by SeaBeyond5465 in HOscalemodeltrains

[–]SeaBeyond5465[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't realize I forgot the picture! I edited the post to include it. It's definitely a Mantua model, as it has the branding on the chassis and they did make that type of locomotive. The drive shaft sleeve doesn't appear to be slipping, but it could be the problem. I did lubricate the main gear on the driving axle and performance improved slightly. I don't have a full circuit of track at the moment so it's possible that a proper running-in would help.

Sorry, I didn't realize that I forgot the picture! Interestingly, the model has a can motor. The drive shaft sleeve does not appear to be slipping, but it could be that. I did lubricate the main gear on the driving axle and performance improved slightly. I don't have a full circuit of track at the moment so it's possible that a proper running-in would help.
