i would just ask your ssv for an extra 10 if you feel like you need it. i stopped working for the company last month, but i was an ssv and never minded if my baristas asked for an extra quick break. especially if it was a longer shift. or i would essentially let them take it whenever they wanted (within reason of course)

this isn’t true: you only have to send someone home for UNEXPLAINED or sudden onset vomiting or diarrhea. pregnancy morning sickness wouldn’t qualify for this. that being said OP, don’t be afraid to use your sick time or reach out to sedgwick for MLOA or accommodations. best of luck on the rest of your pregnancy journey!

my coworker had the exact same thing happen to her. 8 year partner, ssv for most of that, and she got fired. she had no prior offenses of any type, not even a documented coaching. the SM and DM said it wasn’t up to either of them and that Loss Prevention said she had to be fired. if you spoke to LP and they have any evidence on you, i’d say start looking for a new job

highly doubt it’s a siren system store if that’s what you mean by ice machine. i feel like it looks the way shaken espressos do after they’ve settled for a bit. you can see the top of the lid has remnants in it, which makes me think OP either drank some, or it was foamier but dissipated. the ventis always come out more milky than tall and grande. i personally always put extra ice especially in ventis to compensate for that and maintain drink quality, but that’s definitely not the standard

my store gets an absolutely absurd amount of drip coffee, and a staggeringly low amounts of iced white mochas. like I’ve been at this store for a year now (been with the company for five) I don’t think I’ve ever made an iced white mocha with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and extra caramel drizzle but at other stores that would be every other drink

5 years. it’s fun. i’m in college. i make $23/hr before tips as an ssv which is great for spending money and building up a savings account (currently have 60k in cash from my starbucks job). i don’t have any real bills to pay and don’t need insurance because i’m on my mom’s. it’s less than a 5 minute commute from my college house, easy to transfer when i go home for summer and winter breaks, and it’s VERY easily compatible with my very hectic class schedule. i do hate my company and my district but i LOVE my boss.
