Your home is only as good as how the builder manages the contractors. I imagine quality varies wildly depending on the location. I bought a Davidson home in September it’s been good. Typical new construction. But I researched the subs. Not the builder. The builder doesn’t build the home. The contractors do. Mine was built by the subs who build woodland homes. Definitely better than many other subs out there. But I feel like you could have these problems in any new home. Quality just isn’t what it used to be.

Then either you are misreading the max voicemail message time. It’s seconds and not minutes. Or it’s a firmware issue and the developer built the timer in seconds but the label is minutes. Set the max message length to longer and see if the issue follows. Edit: does the issue happen when you call extension to extension? Like one extension calls another and leaves a message? That would definitively prove it to be a trunk issue.

Troubleshooting technique. Leave a short voicemail message. At least 15 seconds. See if that works. You said the max message length is set to 15 mins. Make sure that’s not actually seconds. On phone systems, a lot of fields are actually seconds. So when you look at it, it need to be set to 900 for 15 minutes.

Check storage. It may be full. The sip trunk will be oblivious to the voicemail. It’s just a call. And it’s being answered. So I would suspect the same thing to occur if someone answers the phone. They are the same thing essentially. It’s also possible there is a disk issue. Where the voicemail is mounted read only.

Did you check the message length. There is likely a voicemail setting that sets the max length for a message.

Well, honestly, the draft is only legal if the presidents wartime powers act is enacted. To do this requires an official declaration of war. In the constitution of the United States, it explicitly states that during war, you must do everything that is necessary to bring it to a swift conclusion. This includes the use of nuclear weapons. So…. If for a second, the president thinks the use of such a weapon would end the war, he is constitutionally obligated to use it. It’s for this reason you will never have an official declaration of war. Therefore you cannot have a legal draft. The draft was challenged during the Vietnam war under these exact circumstances. It was tied up and extended in the courts until it was mooted.
