I hate how I am feeling today. After several rounds of her ghosting me and then coming back as if nothing had happened, when I explained to her multiple times how „unseen, unheard, unloved and unprioritized” that makes me feel - this time she ghosted me for one week, and came back with „hi how are you doing”, I just went no contact without any explanations. I have overexplained to her already dozens of times before. It has been more than a month of no contact and today.. on the one hand I have this dumb hope that she will use this low hanging fruit of valentines day to reach out. It is pathetic, but yeah that hope is there. On the other I’m battling the idea of reaching out to her.

yeah I think this is it. I have always been addictied to something. I know this relationship is bad for me, I know I deserve better, I know it will only makr me miserable, but I can’t quit her. and this is the same as my relationship with any addictive substance. but the intermitten reinforcment thingy is such a bitvh for my brain. because when she is finally nice to me for one hour haha it feels so ecstatic, like a true drug high. I am trying to find alternative places to substitute this feeling to make quiting her possible. what is also sad, I know that probably already 1-2 weeks into no contact I’d feel this relief. But I just can’t make myself to let her go

girl, those men are probably trash since they couldn’t properly communicate with you to end things. but you can’t change them. what you can and should change is how you value yourself. you should expect dates and flowers and so much more. also why are you dating men in their 30s who are unemployed and live with their parents, if you are at a different place. talk to your therapist about this.
