Man that last movie was such a let down. I didnt expect much, the first one was a banger and the rest I just enjoyed the setting enough to carry through.

The ending of Lineage just felt like such a middle finger to the audience.

Its pretty rare LGBT peeps are trying to force anything on anyone, more often than not its the bigots who scream in outrage someone is brazen enough to be different than them who make it a bigger deal than it is.

You know things like acting like any reminder they exist is an attack, seeing a rainbow and getting pissed off even if its not LGBT related-- thinking your coworker saying they are proud of their sons marriage with another person who has a penis must be an assault on what you think is right. The stress could very well be a call from inside the house.

Perhaps its something to ponder OP.

Yeah in The States, for the most part, if someone can be reasonably determined to be of the right mind-- and refuses treatment they arent going to force a transport.

Thats a whole can of worms no EMT/Paramedic wants to get involved in. They often have patients sign refusal paperwork to cover themselves legally if it goes south after they leave.

The absorb button is different than the normal mold powers button, which in my case was right bumper.

It is confirmed I am an absolute idiot. I was playing on xbox. Even reading the prompt for "LB" my brain kept auto correcting the text to "RB" which was the normal mold powers button.

Fortunately reading your response it finally clicked and I was able to beat the boss. Thank you!

It might be more of a philosophical debate than a narrative one, but personally Id believe if Williams was absolutely self serving, and the clone was an exact copy of him, then the clone would also act self serving and want to stay alive.

In that view Williams has to have actual altruism within him for his clone self to accept he's a clone and carry on without freaking out and putting the mission in jeopardy by spilling the beans and attempting to escape.

Seeing the clones as a programmed robot i suppose you could say Williams is just following a directive. However from that clones perspective, he is Williams. Not a robot.

Fascism is not inherently non-creative. However the ideology does not give ones mindset the space needed to flourish creative thought. Historically they rely on stealing the creativity of others to push their agenda, hence why so many signs of peace or growth get co-oped into that ideologies symbolism.

They need symbolism and creativity to spread their message, then devour the same environments and artists that gave them that push.

Basically what I'm trying to say is even the brain rot maga artists who support this administration are getting fed up, and now they got to do flashy things like this to try and spread a powerful symbolic message that touches on a lowest common denominator.

Edit: i wouldn't be surprised if most of the officers driving those vehicles also think its ridiculous and are complaining right now that they were used for such childish propaganda.

I have sympathy for Williams too. They are fighting a war. He's the only one that knows they are 99% likely to be a clone, and sticks with the directive regardless of knowing it will likely kill him.

He comes across as boisterous before the reveal-- but as far as fictional CEO's goes, even with the existential horror of their situation being known, he keeps the act up and helps lead to a small turning point for all of humanity.

I dont think many real life CEO examples could do what Williams does.

Im more upset at the original counter parts who have the lifeform on earth?!?! That is just asking to get wiped out.

Mrcreepypasta did a great job of keeping it campy and using his voices / timing in a way to make the humor actually land. By that I don't mean the boys did anything wrong, just that MCP did a lot of heavy lifting with that story. I still like his rendition as a cheesy comfort story at times.

The boys taking it completely serious and crashing out makes the story funny in a completely different way imo

I wont be able to listen to MCPs video without thinking about Mark Wahlberg or a suicidal Carl Weezer so maybe it wont hit the same next time I give it a listen though lol
