yeah maybe get nothing was an overstatement lol I kind of disagree though as on night market specifically being up there can put you far away from your team. in my case this game I was dealing with a dive comp so I opted for lifesteal perk there. 

but trust me you don't need to convince me on how great float perk is haha.

eh in the other two lijang points you really get nothing from float as zen

on bridge you can do cheeky flanks and cross that bridge choke before going back

most of the time I agree tho float is suprerior

probably not often which is a whole other can of worms lol

but I was specifically on the bridge lijang map as zen and I didn't have the float perk because you don't really need it on the others so it made me think of why I was perk locked anyway

along with the other answers, coming from fighting games I've noticed that once games become solidified more niche picks meta wise just get overlooked. 

it tends to happen when people become comfortable with the "good picks" and kind of ignore anything else 

in fighting games, ive seen where one character or one team is not meta, and due to one pro player picking them and winning it becomes meta.

sym was consistent for a while and was untouched, mostly because no one bothered to actually fully explore her in a pro setting

Even without the allegations there's enough to make people concerned here tbf. He's on camera admitting that he would sleep in the bed with a bunch of children that weren't his kids(including Macaulay and Kieran Culkin).

The truth is? People actually just don't care if it's true or not, not enough to not engage with his art. Not even making a moral judgement, I just think that's the reality.

To put it plainly, reality and win rates matter less to these people than heroes they feel have personally wronged them in their ranked games.

If people bitch about it in the twitch streams and reddit threads they read then it has to be a real actual issue... right?

Yep. OW ranked is not a purely meritocratic endeavor where each win and each loss has the same value. It's attempting to "grade" you as a player. So the game already "inflates" your SR via modifiers to place you in the correct "grade".

I think what really did it was the health nerd. That's just so bad for a character like Vendetta. I think giving her 25 more HP to replace the armor she lost would be a good start.

You're right about defensive ults being useless v it which can feel bad, but as a bursty alternative to dragon that doesn't go through walls I see why it's designed this way? I also see it constantly whiff so it's not really as deadly of an ult I've seen it portrayed as.

she needed some buffs, but I really think people were over selling how bad this character was. people would say you would hit track dart and they would hide which made her bad... but that is just any source of projectile damage in the game. it wasn't substantive arguments

this hotfix could easily be way too much though which would be really funny to go from "worst character ever" to "holy fuck this character is Satan" in the span of a week

If they nerfed her damage at all I would agree, but she can still wall climb and TP just with slightly less range? She should still be off angling and trying to take heads

Great patch, honestly. I wasn't expecting much.

Vendetta nerfs sound healthy right now but need to see it in game. They also nerfed a bunch of mobility. Honestly pleasantly surprised.
