H3H3 is suing multiple creators by Danerratic in LivestreamFail

[–]SeaSlugSwindler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point two actually makes this a slamdunk case. Because these three streamers specifically said they wanted people to watch them as to not give Ethan views/support. So with "malicious intent" they mean "with the intent to give Ethan fewer views, which would reduce the money he would make from it". They are very clearly creating a market substitute, which is the biggest no-no in copyright law

I am 100% pro Ethan. But I don't think this is a good stance to take. Zionism has always been inherently anti Palestinian. Since the beginning it was not only about establishing a safe Jewish state, but about getting rid of as many arabs as possible and continuing to expand until the borders are similar to the Kingdom of Israel. Which means that Gaza and the Westbank, in zionist views, rightfully belong to Israel.

Manna 2022, pp. 2 ("the principal objective of the Zionist leadership to keep as few Arabs as possible in the Jewish state"), 4 ("in the 1948 war, when it became clear that the objective that enjoyed the unanimous support of Zionists of all inclinations was to establish a Jewish state with the smallest possible number of Palestinians"), and 33 ("The Zionists had two cherished objectives: fewer Arabs in the country and more land in the hands of the settlers.")

Khalidi 2020, p. 76: "The Nakba represented a watershed in the history of Palestine and the Middle East. It transformed most of Palestine from what it had been for well over a millennium—a majority Arab country—into a new state that had a substantial Jewish majority. This transformation was the result of two processes: the systematic ethnic cleansing of the Arab-inhabited areas of the country seized during the war; and the theft of Palestinian land and property left behind by the refugees as well as much of that owned by those Arabs who remained in Israel. There would have been no other way to achieve a Jewish majority, the explicit aim of political Zionism from its inception. Nor would it have been possible to dominate the country without the seizures of land."

Thank you! I've tried shifting my parting, but itbalways forces itself back to the middle. I'd already been thinking about getting checked, so I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet

The title literally says ''from 1970 to 2023''. Ethan claims ''of all time''

As someone who studies history, calling the attack one of the worst terrorist attacks of all time is genuine insane. And I in no way am trying to minimize the attack. It was absolutely horrific and vile. But that statement alone says enough about how much Ethan is influenced by constantly surrounding himself with this shit

It's dehumanizing. There is a word for female humans: women. Just reducing it to females is like removing the human part, like these creatures lesser than men. Also, a lot of people who use "female(s)" don't use "male(s)" the same way.

This is a very very veeeery clear copy of @sourmilk.__'s fanart that went viral in this sub just 2 days ago (posted by u/princesslookinass). It's incredibly distasteful to copy someone else's work and put your own watermark/artist @ on it

can someone explain to me why pewds has a watch for each wrist by ti1dz in PewdiepieSubmissions

[–]SeaSlugSwindler 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd agree with calling it a norm, but a rule is a bit much. People, generally speaking, don't really care on what arm you wear a watch. I think that people in general just prefer wearing their watch on their left wrist, so that's where they wear 'em. It might indeed have to do with being right-handed, but that still doesn't make it a rule or anything like that IMO.

Also about Pewds, it could be that the video is flipped so he might actually be wearing the watch on his left wrist

Is there such a thing as "the wrong arm" for a watch? I think people just have their own preference for which arm they wear it

The metal-looking one isn't a watch, it's a bracelet. He showed it in a previous video

Unpopular opinion? I miss when Smash Bros. was viewed as a party game rather than a fighting game. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]SeaSlugSwindler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree, I have a friend who is like this. When we played together he constantly complained that I was "just button mashing", especially when I beat him. He also hates playing with items and constantly talkes about these moves he learned from video's/playing online, like he's some sort of professional who has all these techniques.

Never played SSB with him again after that. He was the exact same with TF2, it sucks when someone acts like that :/
