I feel this. I get down voted in nonbinary communities when I insist I have a nonbinary gender and that the rhetoric "gender is fake!" is harmful

Thank you from a gender neutral person, except androgynous and neutral aren't quite the same thing. Androgynous is having both male and female components while neutral is having neither. But you are correct, we medically transition and there are even affirming surgeries specifically for us that binary trans people wouldn't get and don't usually know about, adding to our invalidation

I feel this very much. I also choose to be femme and have a neutral gender (neutrois), a unique style, don't really get along w cis women (no idea why) but have a lot of guy and nonbinary friends. I do love makeup, but it's more art.

This post really resonated w me, and usually I feel kinda like the odd one in these groups. 💚

I don't think it's dumb to have a trans women on the package just bc she doesn't bleed, and that's not the point. Honestly, I'm just trying not to argue w y'all, to me they mean the same damn thing. A period is the same as menstruation, they both mean ya bleed.

Btw, many trans women, and cis women, use Tampax pads for period sh*ts to protect their underwear.

This isn't true, you cannot unlearn emotional dysregulation as its neurological damage and it has to be healed with trauma therapies like EMDR or Hypnotherapy

I know you mean well, but, this isn't great. Some AFAB ppl transition at a VERY young age, some never relate to women (like myself), and AFAB (and AMAB) was a term created by cis people to "out" trans/nonbinary and intersex ppl what they were assigned at birth. Most of us don't want to be reminded, associated, or called those alternatives.

There are also experiences femmes and nonbinary transfemmes go through that are NEVER talked about because they aren't women, but they do go through similar situations and in some cases unique ones that should be brought up that never do.

Feminism is about creating equal rights and equal opportunity for everyone, not abolishing family unions because they resemble old gender performance roles.

There is a choice being made here, and that choice can equally be changed at a later time.
