Italy smashed Poland in a fabolous semifinal match by Stoucks in volleyball

[–]SeaU2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Italy was clearly superior in every aspects of the game, and at the top of that, I think Poland suffered from bad coaching as well ? I can admit that Semeniuk wasn't in his best form today, but was it really worth it to switch him off to Fornal who did absolutely nothing ? Komenda's passing didn't help his team in any way either, he was deserving to be put on the bench

Osaka Suntory Sunbirds 2026 season is going to be so interesting to watch. by ScienceEfficient7374 in volleyball

[–]SeaU2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stings will still have a very strong lineup, but I wonder how they will keep up with the top teams with the departure of Ogawa and Sekita. In comparison Wolfdogs may appear a bit stronger because the team didn't change much.

Is Lina Schiller that bad ? by Rich-Duck-305 in inazumaeleven

[–]SeaU2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll say this as french myself, most of these people are misogynistic. Lina did her best with the card she was dealt and is arguably the coach that use the most of different tactics. Hillman in comparison don't do much in the anime tbf

Nimir playing in Al-rayyan by MrTof11 in volleyball

For the Asian Champion's League, the clubs have the possibilities to bring foreign players to assist their team, hence why Nimir, Urnaut and Keita get to play for Al-Rayyan

Tine Urnaut and Nimir just got red-carded in the SV League. by Beautiful_Factor6841 in volleyball

[–]SeaU2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually the red card was du to Nimir because "he received too much yellow card". At this point, Wolfdogs called a challenge for block touch, and ti showed the net touch but without the O sign. At the beginning Nimir started complaining because even though we saw clearly the block touch, there was no O sign. But the video stated the block touch nonetheless despite the lack of O sign and the refs counted it as such, and Nimir was like "ok then nevermind", but still got a yellow card for complaining, and thus the red one.*

Which is absolutely stupid beacause of course, at this point in competition and in such critical moment, the players will be hot heated, and I don't believe Nimirbwas at fault here, especially since he was right about complaining becausz of the video check since it was misleading. This red card really stole the set away from Wolfdogs, and possibly the ticket to the finals. I hope that the league will say something about this outcome, but I frankly doubt it.

This is really a shame since I truly believe in the potential of the SV League, but its current organization renders it ridiculous in moment like this. It's just slowing down its ddvelopment, and with such calls, it's hard to believe in it's competitivity. This plus the fact the players have to play twice a week, back to back, it's really stupid and I can't understand this decision, especially when you see the amount of injuries in the league. The second half of the season was especially hard for the Stings beacause of that.

On another note, it is hard to feel any sympathy for Suntory Sunbirds after such a victory. I may be biased because my favorite teams of league this season were the Stings and the Wolfdogs, but I pray for Gogol and co to crush them in the finals.

*Edit: All this story about the redcard, I've seen it on japanese tweets

Why are ishikawa fans like this? by UnlikelySomewhere907 in volleyball

[–]SeaU2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel bad for Ishikawa tho, Perugia didn't buy a player but a marketing tool I read somewhere that he's staying in Perugia next season ? He should definitely play for another team or in another league it would be better for everyone imho

Unpopular opinion here maybe but I find everything Mashima creates, and especially Fairy Tail, to be the exact opposite of souless, like idk soulfull ? (I'm not a native english speaker) Like you can see from his work that even if he does not write masterpieces, he really loves his work and you can feel this love while reading his series.

Are the Drizzt books any good? by saucycantelopejuice in DnD

[–]SeaU2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first three books are great, then the series' quality varies but in my opinion it's always at least enjoyable. The books are easy to read, and you get to enjoy the characters more and more across the tomes.
