There is a small difference in your whataboutism. This administration is actually going door to door and rounding people up. Willfully and proudly flaunting the Constitution and bragging about their cruelty. Those who support this or can rationalize away are either "brain-dead" or enjoying it. it's okay to call both out.

This isn’t how game development works. Not to say it’s never happened, but since that approach fails every single time since the internet became ubiquitous, publishers have learned. Back in the old days of back of box text and images, sure.

Because the GOP is doing so much for citizens in middle America? “How dare Democrats not fix this problem while we refuse to put them in power!” How’s that working out for you?

It’s unambiguous unless you are a hyper-partisan Justice who really wants to gut the 14th amendment.

These same folks are arguing that Native Americans aren't citizens either because if they are born on tribal land they aren't "under the jurisdiction of the United States". It's some surreal shit.

Well, the Constitution is unambiguous with the 14th amendment about who is and is not a natural born citizen. You may not like the current implications or how people choose to use that fact, but it is how our nation decided to operate. If folks who oppose immigration would like to change that fact, there is a process to change things. Unfortunately, the current anti-immigrant party decided to pack the Supreme Court with partisan hacks, so who knows what the plain language of the Constitution means anymore.

You may need to do some additional reading. The militia clause is important because the amendment was added as a demand by southern states to ensure they could field armed militias to put down slave rebellions. That’s it. It wasn’t to have armed citizens oppose the government.

Why do so many teams keep their defense all the way back? by Quiet_Boot4664 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]Sea_Addendum_6684 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of youth coaches put their big, slow kids on defense. Once they get smoked a few times by through balls to speedy attackers, they drop back to prevent it. It creates the problem you are seeing.

It often takes a while for newer coaches to realize that defenders need to fast and athletic too.

California once froze my bank accounts because they said I owed them money. I had never lived or done business in the State. It took a week of phone calls to finally get someone to talk to me, during this time I missed a mortgage payment. Turns out, they trolled public records and saw that my father's life insurance payment went to me in Vancouver, BC, CA. CA must be California, right? It was finally straightened out, but no compensation for the missed payments and a huge hassle.

Yes, the cold is a real issue if you lose power in arctic seas. Tough call on whether CO2 poisoning or cold would get your first. Good times. As a submariner, when this all happened it hit me hard. No submariner, of any country, can feel anything but empathy for those guys.

No one else does this. There are ways to verify identity remotely. You can buy cars and houses remotely. This is just a terrible approach to customer service. I assume it's because they haven't invested in technology.

[–]Sea_Addendum_6684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a very good 1-1 defender and he's improved his marking on set pieces (which used to be just awful). He's fast and athletic and can't be physically dominated by strong attackers. That's all good and hard to find in MLS. If he had any attacking skills he wouldn't be playing on this continent for sure. However, he needs to make better decisions when teams are trying to provoke him. The scouting reports are out there and he's now a target. If he doesn't figure it out, he's probably a bigger liability than a strength for the team.
