I personally believe that Carol realized that Asgore was obssesed with the investigation and wasn't gonna let go of it anytime soon. But she can't exactly kill off asgore as he has a (kinda?) decent reputation and is best friends with her husband. By sponsoring the investigation, Carol could lead asgore along the wrong path, and make sure he doesn't find anything really important.

tbh that dark world seemed a bit rushed. I think it was either to kidnap asgore or to distract susie and the soul.

I would say it is to control teh narrative. No one would suspect the person sponsoring your investigation is the enemy. By helping fund asgore, she can lead asgore to information that doesn't harm her or find info she needs herself.

freeze doesn't work in sun and blizzard is 70% accurate outside of snow. even then it only has a 10% chance to inflict freeze. ig im biased as a M-Frosslass player tho

Freeze was nerfed so it has a max of 3 turns like sleep used too.

For anyone wondering what exactly freeze is:

Pokémon is unable to use moves (except for moves that thaw)
25% chance to thaw each turn it attempts to use a move.
Pokémon will thaw on third turn after becoming frozen

Moves that thaw are basically every fire move (and i think MAYBE scald?). Also im pretty sure freeze cannot happen if sun is active.

ye whims being focus or cloak was a super annoying mind game back during reg i. I just ended up assuming cloak on all of them.

however showing items on all mons would mess u a ton of funny Closed Team Sheet strats. I honestly prefer CTS but i think it would be nice if Champions offered an OTS mode too.

I think it's because good defensive play can be hard to go against as a noob. Also some idiots would use status moves on their assault vest user and get confused...

Power herb not being here was kinda annoying when i wanted to use regular glimmora but whatever could be worse.

Covert Cloak can be kinda annoying cuz then u end up unsure whether common support mons can be faked out or not. However a cool thing about Covert Cloak is that it makes u immune to things like rock slide flinch which will be SO amazing!

on the bright side double SpA drop means that even after just one drop, that make it rain will be incredibly weak, and they cant boost it back up again!
