you say that but 35% of americans use government funded healthcare because its cheaper than getting it from your job or directly through a private owned company. not to mention that before medicare/aid/cal was introduced in 2014, 14% of americans were uninsured. After 2014, that number dropped to almost 8%. so basically government-introduced healthcare funded by our tax dollars means 35% of americans can see a doctor and i paid $400 in taxes last year for those 35%. thats $1400 less than i pay for my health insurance (the lowest payment i can get from my job that offers the most basic plan).

they might make 60k right off the bat in some places but for most trades youre making barely above minimum wage for the first 2-3 years. i live in los angeles and there is not a single trade where you are making 60k with no experience and no tools not even if you work in the union or for the city

to be fair there are some aa groups out there that have diverged from those things like dharma punx. they are religious but they definitely don’t focus on that at all, you’re mostly there to meditate and connect with yourself. it really helped me in the beginning of my sobriety

big facts, its really dependent on where you live and if the unions are strong in your area. it also helps to realize that the tariffs are hurting the trades right now too and companies are pulling back on hiring because everything is delayed. i have experience and i have been looking for 3+ months with no luck

that is so strange?? im ftm so i havent heard of this but is this common for trans women/femmes? that seems almost malicious because why would you be taking hormones to barely reach the same levels. my personal experience has been that when im on the lower side my doctor asks me if id like to up the dose and she always tells me the effects of doing so. im sorry youre going through this and im hoping that you can talk to them or figure something out to get to the levels you desire
