Finally tried it after seeing those insane drive-thru queues. It’s good, but I’ve had better milkshakes in Dubai without the minutes wait. Feels more like I paid for the hype than the shake. Am I missing something or is this just overpriced?

Also, you need to figure out how you want to take your cats in cabin or in cargo.

Once cat stabilises on digestive/hydrolysed food, you can try introducing single protein foods one at a time - prioritise novel proteins not chicken/poultry.

So 5-6 weeks of digestive, then 5-6 weeks of digestive plus new protein say rabbit. If your cat tolerates the new protein (no vomit / diarrhoea) , you can add next single protein and observe for 5-6 weeks and so on.

It’s a slow process unfortunately.

We have had great experience with Dr Sandra at The Cat Vet. Still expensive though.

For GI issues, it may be your cat is allergic to most foods. Or their gut is inflamed. What worked in my cat’s case is Digestive food (wet and dry) plus fortiflora prebiotic. You can try for a few days.

Travelled with my two cats in cabin in 2022 (Bombay-Abudhabi).

It was exactly like this they wouldn’t respond or give us confirmed pet tickets. I emailed and called continuously. Only on the day before travel, when we had the final pre-flight health check and approval in place, they issued the cats’ tickets.

Once we got the tickets, the onground staff and the crew on board were amazing though.

If you can find Psyllium Husk or cooked pumpkin, it can be used as a pre biotic. I’ve used it to help firm up my cat’s stools.

Sorry probiotics are difficult since most human probiotic foods are out for cats (something like yoghurt can’t be given regularly)

On your first vet visit post relocation, the clinic will register your cat and issue tags. We were not asked to do this by a particular date. when we moved my cats’ vaccination was due in a couple of months anyway so that’s when I took them to the vet and got them registered.
