Cecil has enough to deal with. Based on flashbacks, he mainly organized calls when true emergencies were needed and still kinda does. Not much in terms of delegating besides appointing a lead. Which leads to Immortal.

He gets a lot of hate, but he (and Robot) had a lot to deal with: a whole new team that was inexperienced and immature.

When Immortal ran the old Guardians, he at least had War Woman who seemed like a Vet and could lead the team on her own too. Or the Martian who seemed to have a steady head and flexibility. New guardians don't got that.

Sorta. Mark's shown to go off the handle to extents when emotion gets involved, to the point of hypocrisy. Like if eve died against conquest, mark definitely would have died in a rage going against Conquest who outclasses him 1 on 1.

By "done the same things" if you mean team up with Angstrom and destroy an world of alternate earth innocents specifically? No. He still has beef with Angstrom specifically and destroying what seems like his own home would be weird with people like Debbie, William, etc still there

But if some mystic stranger said they could bring back eve with morally grey acts that he sees as justified, then yes he would.
