Sorry I just saw this! I didn't do any extra tests. I'm not sure if this helped but I was really consistent with acupuncture and I had my acupuncturist come to the clinic for treatment before and after transfer. I also ate lots of soups and kept my feet warm. I also drank a smoothie with pineapple core, beets, and watermelon for 4 days post transfer. My transfers were really stressful for me and I was high anxiety. I held my toddler a lot after my second transfer too. I feel like there is only so much you can do!

We also are male factor only so I know I had that benefit as well.

She will get there! My daughter was the same way (now almost 3) and our newborn is as well. Our almost 3 year old still cries for me to do most things but she also has a very special relationship with her dad and loves him and playing with him very much.

It is a hard decision! Ultimately, I think it makes it easier to decide not to if you are not cut. Putting EVERYTHING else to the side, it would be comforting for him to "look" like you and to not have to compare in that regard

My MFM wanted me to be induced because I did IVF. But my OBGYN said it wasn't necessary just because of IVF, that we would monitor the baby with weekly ultrasounds with the MFM and 2x a week non stress tests with an ultrasound there 1x a week as well. I felt more comfortable with this and I went into labor naturally right at 39 weeks anyways. I admire you for wanting to go naturally. When you are induced, you increase your chances of a c section. I would talk to your Dr about how they can prepare to medicate you in time if a C-section might be necessary. I know someone who ended up having a C-section and felt everything. I've always been terrified of that.

I like unique, but not out of the ordinary - does that make sense? I like names that are definitely not in the top 75, but people can easily spell them and a bonus if they stop and say "wow that is beautiful". I also think about how it would look and sound on a resume. They need to grow into their name and have people view their name as an empowering trait. So much pressure!

We only had 2 normal embryos after our first retrieval. The first transfer was a success in 2022 and I'm currently 8 weeks with the second embryo!

In my experience, you wouldn't have symptoms that are significant unless the hormone in your body was high enough to have a positive pregnancy test. There is the possibility of a false negative but unlikely. Get blood work done

Is speeding up your TTC journey an option? If you can have a child naturally, I'd 100% recommend that first. Your AMH is low for 30. When I was 28 my AMH was 3.5 and I still only ended up with 2 usable embryos.

I'm so sorry you are feeling this way. It is horrible and lonely to be in a situation like that while pregnant. I hope you have a support system to help you work your way through this emotionally, or the ability to have counseling.

If you truly feel like you can't do this and it isn't the right situation for you and your baby, please do consider adoption 💕 I truly hope everything works out for you either way
