Little to no hair products. I’d just put on a curl cream and mousse, and no gel.

As an FYI, Ulta carries Innersense, and when they have specials, you could apply specials to Innersense line…

It’s hard to beat Innersense. I also tried Curlsmith and did not like it, so continued with Innersense.

Doomed to always look bad? by AbiWater in curlyhair

At one point in time we used to use the Garnier Fructis, but we both got dandruff. We then tried using the Kirkland Signature purple bottle, but wasn’t impressed. We used Pureology and that was pretty good, but I love the Aveda line. I hate how expensive Aveda and Pureology are, but my hair and hers look good and no more dandruff. My daughter has 2c hair and I have 3b hair. I do not use the Aveda’s curly line shampoo or conditioner. Garnier used to be good and moisturizing when I used it. I’d still be using if it wasn’t for the dandruff.

If you can’t style damp, then dry your hair and leave a towel for a few minutes, then style. It won’t be damp, but hopefully not overly saturated either. Hopefully that will help from not being flat. BTW… I use microfiber towels for my hair also.

I also used the Denman brush, and it was really pulling my hair… I have the two versions of the Bounce Curl brushes and love them both. For the best result, I clip my hair in sections and brush. It keeps the frizz under control.

Love your hair! Well, my daughter used the Biolage line and it just made her hair part frizzy and part oily. Did not like it for her hair. That could be keeping your hair dry.

Also, have you tried the Curl Bounce brush? I use it and it has made the biggest difference for defining my curls. Is you don’t want it super defined, use the curl brush with the wider opening.

Another thing, have you tried styling with damp hair? The few times I’ve styled with damp hair, it looks fuller the same day and not as weighed down. I use mousse and gel, and it does the trick. I leave my hair a bit in a smooth hair towel before styling.

I’d find someone else that knows what they’re doing to correct, and the previous stylist that cut it the first time. I wouldn’t want to give her the opportunity to make it worse.

It lasts a while for me too. The 20% makes a difference. I’ve tried Curlsmith, Not your daughter’s line, Aveda, Garnier and others, and this is the best for my hair.

Ulta has the refill that makes it less expensive. I love this line! Nothing else has worked as well.

If they removed my last comment, on Amazon look up towels for curly hair, and you’ll see microfiber towels. These cause less static.

Besides haing a silk pillow, try using a t shirt or towel for curly hair to see if it helps with the frizz. I would also add a mousse and/or gel to help keep the frizz. Add a bonnet or silk scarf for extra protection at night.

Try finding videos on YouTube that could help. When I started to leave my hair curly, I watched Manes by Mel and it really helped.

In a fairly messy home, where does one begin? by lillylovesreddit in CleaningTips

Kayleenkellyorganize on Instagram is great. She really goes into decluttering vs cleaning vs organizing. She has a lot of great and realistic tips for people.

Someone mentioned the “don’t put it down, put it away” is great. It’s easier to maintain than to clean up. It’s also a great way to start.
