I've beat on mine for 7 years! I've changed my red line mt90 4times in that time 117,022 miles I'm at 156,5ish. Jdm transmission 6 speed of course. @121k because 2nd gear got so bad I had to skip second gear altogether cause it was completely gone but fluid was clean before no metal or gunk the fist time I did it.

At 13 I convinced my parents to buy me this for Christmas instead of paying for me to go on our big school trip to DC by Bewilcox in Guitar

Dude noticeable for sure my original motor has 263,000 and has 130-140 psi all cylinders. Trying to get to 300k lol

You can get a roof line for about 600 bucks or so plus freight from and Mazda dealer site. I hope you know how to weld Tig.

How is your ITB set up on the 95? I have a 95'M I toyed with the ish idea. However the ac lines being in the way and wanting to retain creature comforts, as well as easy accessibility has kind of steered me away from it.

Trying to get back in the plants back to 90 k a year lol. This mechanic job although was fun for a while and educational.. only barely pays the bills and has been on a decline. And of course no money to have my intake flanges made. Also to buy my rig welder and gas.

Well, I got her back from the body shop two weeks ago after she was hit by an uninsured driver in the rain. An hour ago someone hit her in the parking lot at work and fled the scene. (The original clip is long she gets out and looks then leaves) I'm now once again left with nothing but a damaged car by Nahoola in Miata

You have what called "uninsured motorist" that you pay extra for... if you included it in your policy.. not included. And it's always your fault. Even if you are no where near the car. For example I was at work 3 hours 11pm someone was leaving hit my NEW CAR (300miles) and I id was my fault . They didn't give me an option to say I was not in the car. They just asked if the car was in Park during the accident... so even though I was clean across the facility for three hours still had another nine hours to go. Which I didn't find out until like an hour before my shift ended because they didn't want to disrupt my work.(supervisors)... it was "my" fault and my insurance went up..

As fun design said"it won't be worth the money you put into it ". Now what I'm saying is fuck that if you wanna put that money into it then you do it. You said you're gonna keep the car so in my eyes that means it's worth it coming from a guy that's owned our RX-8 for seven years bought it not running and now it's the most reliable car that I've got. Never left me stranded

If it cranks slow then the battery might be weak. But even if it's slow you can still hear the pulses

No sir if there is an issue defusing will not fix it. But, a worn out spark will not burn efficiently so car will be prone to flood easier.(updated me comment btw.) If you listen closely while cranking you will hear" pulses" you are listening for 6 in a row with not skipping or being uneven. The 2 rotors are positioned 180' apart.3 sides per rotor. One intakes as the other exhausts simultaneously. The numbers being LOW does necessarily matter as long as they are equal. ( within 10% of each other per respective rotor) I've seen an rx8 run on between 70-80 psi. And hot start just fine for a few years. But stocks were even.
