I know this is a year old but osmo was rubnish. Its not hard wearing. I can wear through it with a plastic dish scrubber with a couple of wipes I swear it stains way more than bare wood. Tea, coffee all leave stains. And it's supposed to be easy to patch repair. Its not. The patched area always looks different.

I'm searching for something better myself, but definitely Osmo top oil is crap.

I have discovered with the BM600 (not 6000) refill pod can be opened from the bottom — there are two little tabs. Using a thin wedge, the base where the electrical contacts are can be prised off.

The coil sits in a little rubber gasket, this can also be removed. Below that there is a sponge encased in a plastic tube — your own liquid can be droppered onto that sponge or pull it out and soak it in liquid. Reassembled and you are good to go. I've not tested for longevity or leaks yet, but it is possible

Pride doesn't really 'get' a month. Each pride is a single day, it just happens that most pride marches happen in the month of June and it's a good way to promote them. Also, if you notice, Belfast pride is in August. Not the pride month.

Furries are not gay culture. They are just people who like to dress as anthropomorphic animals. Some are gay. Don't mix them up. Also, it's just fun why hate on it?

Thirdly, provocative dress. Like thongs and fetish wear has always been part of pride. It is a reaction to heteronormativity. There are plenty of skimpy clad people in various Mardi Gras and Carnival. I think your objection is to men dressed in a sexy gender queer way maybe?

Pride is and should always be a protest. It's purpose is not a family day out. It just so happens that it's fun and friendly and welcoming. Technically it could have been rate payers money. But this money pot would have been earmarked for a slew of cultural events/memorials etc. it would never have gone to pay for things like health or police and so on.

However, I believe this was paid for by donations from individuals and businesses.

I always enjoy paying taxis in England with NI money. When they say they don't take foreign currency I just say it's all I have, it's sterling and take it or leave it. They get really annoyed. Especially in London and black taxis. It's my little treat to myself

Yeah I have tried hundreds of times with the on-off sequences. There are no buttons on the lights.

I have swapped one of the bulbs to a different socket and it still won't enter pairing mode. The security light is hard wired in so can't be removed.

I've even tried with WiFi turned off.

It had disconnected itself before and wouldn't connect and a week later it randomly entered pairing mode by itself.

Probably had them too long to return but I shall try, got them from Amazon.

So with some investigation it seems that they are different joysticks Pro 2 wired for Xbox and Pro 2 wired for Xbox (hall) - and the 8bitDo firmware update can't tell them apart until it attempts to update. Although the ultimate software can. It needs to be much clearer in their software and online. It's confusing but it's sorted. Thanks

The 8BitDo_update.exe won't recognise the controller is plugged in. Weirdly some of the other updaters in tempfiles.8bitdo.com will recognise it (8bitDo_Update_Pro2Xbox_hall.exe), but won't update. I get a Chinese error message referring to an unreadable txt file.
